A 14 year old high school girl wrote this song in 2006. Her name is Bianca Bonnie. Anyone can cover a released song without their permission but they have to receive royalties if the song is released for the public to make money. J-Hope did not have to pay anything for the use of her song because it was released free for his fans. J-Hope insisted he pay her for her writing credit. He paid 2.7 million dollars. Different artists praised him for this.

J-hope wanted 50 dancers of different races as backup dancers and put their names in the credits. Music is global and J-hope and Becky G moved the needle on that idea. To show how passionate Hoseok was in the song, he paid $2.7M to the original artist of ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ and released the remake for FREE. And he still kept the original dances with a little tweak of his own. His only goal was to bring people together through dance and music which can be seen when every dancer in the MV was credited at the end of the video. A true wholesome artist who knows the meaning of music and the love for dance. So much respect and admiration for J-Hope’s proffesionalism, his love for dance and the respect he has for other artists and their crafts. His dedication and hard work has once again proven why music is a part of who he is and what he is made of.

Hey Nigel, so in interviews J-Hope said CNS was one of the first songs he ever learned to dance to when he was a kid, which was why he wanted to cover it. He said Becky g had a similar experience growing up and they bonded over that while collaborating on the song 😊. He originally intended to include it on his solo mixtape “Hope World” which you should check out. Also he added kids as background dancers and wrote all of there names in the credits became he said they reminded him of when he was a background dancer and he got no credit. He wanted the kids to be known as amazing dancers and not like him who took a long time on street dancing to preserve his career. He has an amazing heart
