Be clear with your man what you would like in your future. Marriage, kids, living situation, careers! And then just go with the flow; you can’t force someone to love you. So you shouldn’t be forcing someone to marry you. It should be something that is mutually wanted.

I agree. But you also have to be on the same page with them and not force it. Back when my husband and I were already three years into dating, we clearly knew we were going to get married and the kids talk we had when we had our first date (we thought 3 was a good number, now we're at 8 kids being out number haha) I knew what I wanted in a ring and I bought my own ring (it was 90$ and GORGEOUS) and my husband had it for when he was ready to propose. He felt less pressure to find a perfect ring because I got it. All he had to do was just find the right time to ask and do it in private since I got so anxious when made the center of attention. Our engagement was beautiful and intimate. Now we've been married for almost 2 years and our son is turning one next month.

When I got pregnant from my first kid, I told my husband. Either we get married or we co parent, cause I was not just going to be his gf with a whole baby lol. He later proposed on my birthday and we've been married for 9 years now 😁.

31 weeks already! Oh my goodness! I had my son at 32 weeks. I had severe preeclampsia and placenta abruption. He’s 9 weeks today. After 3 weeks in the nicu, he came home:)

I say get engaged and then just enjoy your time with baby boy. You don’t have to get married right away, hell you could stay engaged for as long as you like or not even get married and stay engaged. All I know is that Ayla definitely deserves a ring and a ring doesn’t symbolize marriage. It symbolizes the fact that someone proclaimed their unconditional love for you and will always be there for you. Ayla at least deserves that. Kian she’s already having your baby, life is short, tomorrow is never guaranteed, the least you could do is get this girl a ring and tell her how much you love her in this present time. Don’t have to get married, just show her you love her.

I really feel like I’m on the pregnancy journey with you being pregnant at 28 weeks , I feel huge already and everything hurts 😂 I get to see our baby boy #2 tomorrow and I’m also definitely very excited! You and Kian are doing an amazing job and also no it’s not crazy to eat that security being pregnant and wanting to feel locked down . Personally, I think your reasoning is a bit silly for wanting to get married. Marriage is a huge huge huge commitment. A ring and being able to say "fiance" instead of "boyfriend" are such image based, trivial things. Focus on nurturing your relationship and building it organically stemming from deep love.
