I remember before the delivery company, I would order food and a minimum delivery fee was fixed for 0-2 miles. It would go up the further the customer's location was. Now, other gouging fees eat up all the earnings for drivers, stacking orders 2 orders for $3 with 5 miles.
Yesterday was a little slow. I should’ve took some Uber eats offers, but they were kind of garbage but ended up going in early should’ve stayed out but my fiancé wanted me to come home so I did today. I’m off. I’m not going out. It’s a Tuesday and usually in my market, it’s pretty slow.
Gaming developers. File under the story of public school teachers lies of "oh that's a good job. There will always be a need for that kind of work. You can be anything you wanna be." Whelp in 2022 8,000 gaming developers were laid off In 2023 it was 10,000 And today in 2024 Epic games is cutting 12,000 So gaming developers lasted 20 years as the real boom began around 2000. If they started landing a gaming job in their 20's they are now approaching their mid 40's to 50 a time where employers want nothing to do with you. Betcha they thought their high pay jobs would always be there. That's what their teacher told em Age 20 to 40s are your peak earnings years after that you start becoming a liability instead of an asset. Unless you have a trade skill that's valued and work for yourself where you can set your own prices or you don't leave the house.
Be careful about the stomach issues. One of my friends ignored the butt-splosions and ended up finding out she was harboring stomach worms. There are hundreds of neglected tropical diseases (and parasitic infections) that doctors generally are uninformed about. Some parasites can cause chronic illness including autoimmune disorders and sometimes death. Not to scare you but for sure don’t crap your life away 💩🪦
Used to work there managers always like to take their anger out on us almost got into a fight with the manager kept yelling at me, door dash is soothing in my opinion it may be better
I can't schedule on doordash, I am guessing it's because someone has taken all the slots and I wasn't making a lot in the first place and I am on waiting list for other gig work. So, I 😢
You can have a 3% AR if you multiapp. If all you are doing is waiting for exclusively DD orders , THEN it will be a lot of sitting around most days. Yeah there may be random days you may be busy.. but overall you will have less orders .. it’s just hard to tell if you kept busy by the other apps. And ofc you may get a good DD morning or Somme thing. DD is not going to make the customer wait to punish you. It’s just about priority do If it’s busy enough they will give the order to whoever’s available.
