I was really waiting whenever Ziz reviewed the cyclone build to hear something like: "You know, some people say that PoE players are no-lifers, and this guy takes it literrally". Love your roasts, Ziz. Keep it up.

This is definitely what has happened in the cases shown in the video. I also fell into the same trap when I reached mid tier maps with ED, using the pre-ci build. I somewhat.. have the funds to switch, but I'm at that frustration point that you mentioned where you ask yourself "should I just reroll?". Unfortunately, veterans of any game, will always end up so assumptious and jaded that they expect people to know the in's and out's of almost every aspect of the game they're trying to help people with. Ironically enough, as indepth as some of the build guides are, they fail to mention the most BASIC of gameplay drawbacks that could be an absolute deal breaker at later levels of the game. I.E the travel time for ED to proliferate contagion feels terrible to me, even if it's less than 1 second. The clear is 'fun' when the map tier is low enough that the mobs die and contagion proliferates off screen, but what kind of investement is needed for this to continue into tier 14-16? It's already a struggle as is. Perhaps rambling a little, but oh well. One final thing. The crafting notes in Ziz's ED guide are ambigious at best. Insulting to a point, considering the constant "use harvest craft to make functional item". You're lucky if harvest gives you the finger when you enter the grove. That'd at least be better than the plethora of dildo's hanging from the branches, just waiting to fuck you. /end rant

@@iamvengeance5324 couldn't really anticipate the harvest changes being as bad as they were, but putting more alternatives for crafting es gear is definitely something that can be done (dense fossils/woes/even alt regaling + bench craft for budget pieces) there's definitely clearly a bigger knowledge gap when it comes to builds like ED, and the damage isn't really up to sc trade standards when not invested into properly

Not a bad point but baited is damn good and gives damage too. Spent a load of currency on upgrading to a crystal belt from a decent stygian last time I played ED and then plugged in baited breath later on to find I had only like 50more es and less dmg XD. Similar belts going for several ex as well. Guess the flexibility of a darkness is pretty cool as well, does belt quality stack the jewel mods as well?

@@Al_Does_Stuff Catalyst doesnt stack unfortunately, hence if you got a good stygian, then use it instead. The damage from bated breath is nothing really, you could get way way more damage from darkness enthroned. Example for phys, you can get upto 17.5 to 24.5 flat phys with t1 phys on both jewels. And you can have double attack mods per jewel, lets say t2 phys with bow attacks from both jewels can have upto another 21 to 28 flat phys, so total of 38.5 to 52.5 flat phys.

i have a question, when dual wielding is necessary? Like for my poison blade vortex i have 2 cold iron daggers(+6 levels), i guess its better to have some good health res, chaos dmg increase shield?

@@GruffGuy A very good shield is probably better defensively, but on a budget 2 cold irons is probably fine. If you feel you need more defense and your dmg is good, you can get a shield. Either a well crafted rare or just a good unique shield.

@@zeralmahib2549 dont know about that, didnt try sirus, shaper yet. 6k hp 1kk effective dps. Only can say that i can farm t16 maps. Actually, what dps is good?

Dedication

I'm on the same build right now, lvl91 and you die a lot on it. The damage is trap, kind of can do high level content but one wrong move and you're dead. High level ultimatums are cancer for it. Got to 5.4k/3k life/es, 0 chaos, immortal call CWDT and now it's okeyish. Thinking about endurance charge generation or more block, but overall not a fan of this playstyle and squishiness

@@_unknown_guy yea I ended up respec-ing into basically the same build by a guy named ds-something-waggle I think. Something waggle. It was a hardcore viable version of the build, which I don't play hardcore but I sure don't like dying a hundred times in one league lol. Normally Big Ducks has...decent builds, but this one was a big swing and miss. Like I said, damage was pretty good but man. Not worth lol.
