Everyone always asks or wonders how he peaks so fast, and having watched a few more of his videos, I think a large reason he is able to do so, is the fact he uses hold to ads not toggle. And I believe majority of people will use default hold ads for tarkov.. As soon as he wants to come off the peak, he lets go of his ads and moves his character back in cover. So he loses the slow turn speed of being ads instantly. I don’t think you can do this on hold ads. All he has to do is move his finger off the mouse and instantly he’s un ads.. I think I am going to try this and see if this could be one the reasons why he can peak so fast..
Honesly never thought about this, i have so many settings changed to make the game faster and more efficient for me for example my alt look sticks so i can let go of it and when i press it again it goes off, its so akward at first and its technically a glitch but i dont have to hold alt look. I use hold ads aswell and i play fast like general i just dont have time to play a wipe like he does so i get outmatched after a while
I know one person that still uses toggle ads, i cant imagine many others do since nerly every shooting game aim is on hold, not toggle. He peaks so fast because he is constantly circle strafing, not just A/D strafe & his peak buttons are on his mouse, not Q/E.
the reason he peaks quick is three things. 1. Rebinding leans to the side of the mouse. 2. He uses a technique called ferrari peaking. This is when you press lean and smooth lean at the same time. (technically you want to press smooth lean a couple ms AFTER regular lean) This type of lean snaps you back to center instead of it slowly going back. almost instant. 3. is his peaking method. He does a weird a d side step and and combined with ferrari leans your PMC barely sticks out. if your not already using hold to ads then its game over for you
@nogenerals how do you turn so fast after opening a door? Do you sprint, stop, open then turn and sprint or it's just all one sprint motion? I feel so cluncky in doing it at dorms
Wow i havent seen a clip of general running straight into an enemy and losing, i didnt think you are cheating anyways but its refreshing to know he makes mistakes too haha
