Great videos about Nigeria. Well done. I'm not Igbo. So I know very little about Igbo culture. Do different Igbo states get along? E.g. Anambra, Imo, Enugu, etc. Which state is considered the real Igbo? For example, Kano is the real Hausa. Oyo is the real Yoruba.

All Igbo states get along, they yab each other a lot but they get on as one unit world wide. the relationship is even stronger when they leave Igboland. and I can assure you that no Igbo state can claim Igbo more than the other, they boast to each other a lot we are richer, you are poorer, we are better educated your not, that sort of talk but its all full of love and warmth towards one another. Amongst any group of Igbo friends, it is rarely made up of just one state, you generally get a good mix , 2 of Anambra, 3 of Imo, 1 of Enugu 4 of Abia or aba boys, you'll have Delta, Ebonyi, Rivers and from the way I type you can see I am already feeling the love. From my first visit to Nigeria to date my friends have always been of the same make up but we don't act like friends but more like brothers and cousins, we speak one language but with different accents or intonations, just like in England where we have the London accent ( cockney) Birmingham or Midlands have ( Bromy accent) and Liverpool have the Scouser accent but its all English. We also have central Igbo spoken on the news or in education. There is little that non igbos know about Igboland as negative propaganda was designed to put other Nigerian tribes off but the few that ignored the wicked lies are amazed when they arrive in our towns or villages. Many Nigerians don't even know that outside banana island, lekki, VGC, Abuja and south African the Igbo sates are the best looking towns and villages throughout Africa, in fact some igbos don't even know this as the view comes naturally to them . I have been promoting environments like this since 2006 through articles and in the last few years via youtube and facebook and the whole of Nigeria can look like this but wickedness is stifling it . please watch one of my videos call the TRUE BEAUTY OF OWERRI. Oh well my brother its after 5pm so I am off to go and meet Umu guys. Stay Blessed

Start your building project for less than 500 pounds or dollars a month. one plot of land is enough for a 4 bed bungalow and parking but cost of land is subject to its location. in Owerri urban lands starts from £2000 or $2,541 which is about 1million naira but in the villages around Owerri a plot of land is about $700 or less. You need about 3500 building blocks which is about $2000 this includes cost of cement, sand and labour to mould your blocks, $700 is enough for your foundation. so $5,500 has taken your 4 bed to the lintel level add 3 to 4 coaches of blocks and you can do your roof for $4000 or less another $800 is enough for doors and windows. so $12,000 gives you, land outside Owerri , a 4 bed with roof and windows/ doors then you can start finishings. labour shouldn't cost more than $2500 but make sure you buy your own building materials. for further advise call me on London +44777 667 9063 or email visitowerriloveowerri@gmail.com

Bros thanks about the local market video (Eke Umogi), I really did enjoy it , I was smiling through out the video. I didn't grow up there, but that is actually my village. My dad's family home is just opposite that market. Thank you for what you are doing, and encouraging people to look towards home. God bless you.

nothing beats the laid-back and unhurried village life. i suppose the hotel will attract enough clientele as it's near the uni'. not surprised the Togo guy is there for the construction jobs....them and Ghanaians are good at house construction.

the idea is to encourage same all over igboland, we need to market ourselves to the world. i have spoken to a few igbo Kings and also the World Igbo Congress with a view to organizing an exhibition of modern Igbo's, our towns, our achievements, our way of life and contribution to Nigeria's development. a large proportion of the Nigerian society see igbos as only traders and red cap Chieftancy title holders and in so speaking they are totally oblivious to the fact that outside Lagos, Abuja and South Africa, South Eastern Nigeria has the most beautiful towns and villages in Africa

@@visitowerriloveowerri4599wow, i was talking to my mum a few weeks ago and she told me that the east has the worst roads in Nigeria. However, I feel like small development is being made, especially in delta state and rivers state
@visitowerriloveowerri4599
@visitowerriloveowerri4599 5 лет назад
The brains and live wire behind Nigeria's economic success to date is powered by the igbos and to stifle the growth of eastern Nigeria they closed the seaport in river state and refused to fix our roads in the east. this resulted in the igbos moving their investments to Lagos as it became cheaper to do business there and thats way the east has more bad roads than other parts of Nigeria. Read my article ( What is an authorized or justified killing of a Nigerian part 1 & 2 By Ononiwu Anyanwu-Ekeocha) and for more articles click on the red follow the author tab) so the bad roads dont bother me as its safe to say they were put there somehow deliberately

Owerri people, they are the Igbo version of Europeans they work when it's time to do so but when it's fun time they will have it to the very end but one thing I don't like about their youths is after their elder sold land to other Imolites the youths will start extorting money, asking for youths and village development fees, not nice we are all Igbos and brothers,

Such criminal act is worst in Asaba delta state and Onitsha with their neighboring towns in Anambra state where people can take over your property by force even kill you if you are not careful. They are extremely desperate for money.
