Do you have the white album? I remember growing up in the 80s, dad let me listen to anything...but said he would kill me if I unwrapped the white album. Damn he was a good man!
I still have Hello I Love You by The Doors and Crimson and Clover 45's from when I was a kid in the 60's! Love my vinyl, so glad younger generation appreciates it! Peace and Love!
What a great collection Devyn! Such a wide variety of artists you've collected! 😊 I'm a big time Motown record collector! My favorite records are by The Supremes because they were just super adorable!
i love this, great music taste with all that T. Rex albums , marc bolan is a true legend. i recomended to listen the slider on vinyl, a mindblowing vintage sound and record.
I was lucky enough to find a first pressing of Odessey and Oracle in great condition 2 summers ago in North Carolina I think. Cool to see you guys have that
I love all in your collection!! I love T Rex & Tommy James omg they are my favs i listen to the so much, but they are all my music!! Thank you for sharing & you always light me up when i see you posting!!!
You have like half the Beatles’ albums on vinyl!!!! I would love to have that Help! soundtrack - Help! is my absolute favourite Beatles movie and album. Where did you get it??? Of course that won’t help me until I get a record player.... (Also congratulations on getting enough subscribers to monetize the videos. You deserve it!)
I've also noticed she a singer sewing machine, and at the end of HELP there is a dedication to the man who invented the sewing ,machine, and I think it was singer sewing machine shown
that's such an awesome collection!! I've never heard of t-rex before but it seems you have a really good taste in music so I'll definitely check them out haha
Did you ever listen to TRex? Theres such a huge spectrum because they changed styles widely , their early stuff being very folky and mystical, and later on like Electric Warrior or The Slider are much more electric guitar rock. It's virtually timeless, it manages to not sound dated, it's really amazing. My all time favorite band.
Since you seem to be quite big on Marc Bolan, you may like, "King Kong" by the Kinks. It stands up by itself as a good song. But it also, just may have influenced Bolan's singing style -- especially since it was recorded before T. Rex (and maybe before Tyrannosaurus Rex?).
I see you have a copy of Beatles for sale album. The Australian version which I to have one.Mine is in pretty good nick and today they're quite rare.Yep worth a lot of money in good condition !
Brilliant, you are so cool. I think I love you. Amazing taste. Just about everything I like, and play on guitar. You're top/kaftan is brilliant and I love your fashion. It's the style I wear and it's great to see someone else doing the same. Peace and Love Devyn.😎✌☮♥️
OMG I love your collection! When I was a teen, I was OBSESSED with the Beatles and the Monkees! haha I own almost all the Beatles albums on Vinyl, including some rares. I adore Alice, T Rex! I'm also a huge fan of David Bowie and Roxy Music and I'm trying to add more of their LPs to my collection. My parents were really young during the 60s so, my taste in 60s music was all my own! So I was raised on a lot of ELO, Heart, and classic country (My dad is a HUGE Johnny Cash fan) So these days, I listen to a lot more 70s type of music. Lou Reed, T Rex, Bowie. That ilk! But I love it all! A lot of people who are older think it's really really strange I'm into music from their era; luckily, people haven't given me a hard time, except when I went into this record store downtown and it's really more of a collectors store I guess? So there weren't a lot records, as much as just memorabilia n stuff. The guy asked me who I was into and I said, and he just looked his nose down at me. *shrug* But, like you, I really connect to the 60s/70s and it's a really sincere thing! I wish I could have found someone cool like you a long time ago and I'll take your suggestion so I can find more people of the 60s/70s community. Found plenty in the vintage/40s/50s/Rockabilly set, but, this is where my heart *really* belongs. Anyways, sorry for the long post! And keep up all your great work! I look forward to more vids!
Oh wow we really do have similar tastes! That sucks when people look down on your. Like I don’t get that... just because someone has different tastes doesn’t make you better than anyone. Aw sorry about that experience. For the most part, in my experience, people think it’s cool that I don’t just like the music that’s spoon fed to me by society, and I think a lot of people from those times also like it because they still enjoy that stuff and they don’t want it to be forgotten. Thanks so much for the message and glad you’re liking the videos! So much love!! Xoxo
we have a lot of the same albums and that makes me happy!! I love your aura and I'm so glad I found your channel today ❤ much love to you and please make more of these videos as you build your collection!
Omg nooo the Rubber Soul story😢 I was able to find the original mono version of that album at an antique store down the street from my house and it’s my all time fave album I listen to it almost daily😂
are you a fan of Sparks? You should definitely keep an eye out for any of their records, Judging by your collection I think you'd like Kimono my House, Propaganda, Indiscreet. They're got some great cover art too!
I remember when I was young I had a bunch of Beatles records You have inspired me to put up a video of the record collection that I have on my channel. I don’t believe I have yet.
Had many of those records at one time. Was a big Alice fan as a teen. Good job.I have some of the rarest commercial Beatle vinyls on the planet. Always more though. Not the question but my first concert was The Jackson 5. Had 5th row center and was the only white kid in the auditorium. I was about the same age as Micheal then about 12. LOL Second was Sonny and Cher. LOL! Real nerd! I finally grew up a little and saw Led Zeppelin - in 1977 Atlanta Ga. Giving away my age but I have my first record I ever got still The Beatles Twist and Shout from 1964. Beat to hell too.
I can't drive myself to shop at record stores. This collection can be built on the cheap at any good local flea market. Great taste in music by the way.
Hi, killer record selection. I noticed you said Appleton. Are you guys in Wisconsin too? I'm over by Milwaukee. I have been stumbling across some other vinyl geeks in state which is pretty cool. Anyway, hope you guys have a great week. Sending out good vinyl karma your way.
I had almost every studio album by Bolan (on vinyl, cassette, or CD) from around 68 to 1977. At first I wasn't going to watch the video then say those two, lol. I'm an American but started buying Bolan around 1985.
No worries Darlin rule of thumb for most of us vinyl junkies... Just been at it for awhile and didn't realize you knew or not... Constructed criticisms is all.. Good Luck with your hobby
Do you listen to any modern music? I could recommend Zella Day for example! Love your videos so much, I love to take things from different decades into my style and your channel is just perfect!
Nice collection I have almost every one you have, My school's out album came with pink panties, what was the name of that T-Rex album with the three of them on the cover? or was it just called T-Rex. the first Alice Cooper album you showed the black one w/ the band on the cover yeah that was an original I think you have I think mines the air brushed one (because of his finger sticking out of his paints) YES as Astrid below says Never stack records like that!!!
Cool outfit! You radiate a nice flower-power vibe! But please ... take better care of your records! Do not stack them up and put them in a good inner sleeve! I hope you do not use them in combination with a Crosley...! Good luck collecting vinyl!
You should surf the net a little more. There are A LOT of people on youtube with some killer collections. Maybe search under vinyl community or check out The Hogs Ear Report or Vinyl Richie for starters.
The Monkees were my whole childhood, you could imagine the shock 9 year old me got when I found out that the videos I was watching of them were filmed a good 50 years before I was born
Hiii, I’m from Brazil and I would like to know if you have already herd of a (Brazilian) 60/70 band called “os mutantes”, if you haven’t PLEASE search for and listen to! I think you will enjoy very much considering your style, they’re kinda psicodelic and very different. You can search for “tecnic colours - os mutantes
Not really to be honest. I have a few but it’s not something I’m looking for as much. Maybe when I feel like I’ve fulfilled my album collection I’ll move to 45s
