this is my vinyl record collection part 2!🤍📀
it has been so fun collecting records over the last couple years, especially all the taylor swift vinyl BUT there are also so many other artists and albums that i love 🫶 so i wanted to show you some of the other records i’ve collected from some of my favorite artists like Gracie Abrams, Noah Kahan, Laufey, and some are RSD exclusives. i also have some older records that we were handed down from our family!

Little history of ways to listen to music: - 1880s: Wax cylinders were invented, which were about the size of the cardboard roll that comes in toilet paper. My oldest vinyls are a Beatles one and a Dusty Springfield one. They are from my mums collection. Both 60+ years old. It’s quite cathartic that one of the Dusty Springfield tracks has You Don’t Own Me on it. The last track that is on before Taylor hits the stage. My mum saw her live I think in her only performance in Scotland in 1964. Guess who has only performed in Scotland once till present… Taylor Swift. My mum had great music taste!!!

I've first got into Vinyls when I found my dad's old ones in 2015 (he has a lot and most of them are Hungarian) he has got the same Duran Duran LP too and a few classics like the Thriller album, The Beatles Please Please Me, Abba and Queen Greatest Hits, Grease, Falco, etc. The first LP I bought myself was MJ's Dangerous album, since then I bought a lot of Beatles and George Harrison solo records mostly used ones via Vinted, Roy Orbison - Mystery Girl, Jeff Buckley - Grace, Tears for Fears - The Hurting, Ed Sheeran's Autumn variations, 1989 Taylor's version etc.

I have all the owned taylors version vinyls with the exception of all 8 Folklore variants (I only have the Target version). But I bought all variants of Midnights, 1989, and TTPD. For Speak Now since there was only 1 cover I only bought 1 variant. I just got my first original TS vinyl for Valentine's Day - Debut! I really want Rep - I love that original cover 🖤

I dont see a lot of Kelsea fans so I was excited to see this! I have the yellow "subject to change" and the pink self titled. I have the darker smoke RUTWM so it was interesting to see you had the "opposite" variants. I also have the RUTWM picture disc and have preordered the upcoming duo/split RUTWM vinyl. So exciting!

I discovered Kalsea Ballerini this year, and I love these albums: Rolling up the welcome mat (for good), kalsea, and subject to change. I love how she manages to make music so borderline between contry and pop. Then, my favorite song from RUTWM(FG) is "How do I do this": her songwriting is perfect, and so Taylor coded. I'm not sure if you know this/discussed this in the other video, but Lover now has a black pressing. I was hesitant to buy it at first, but then Walmart discounted the variant a few weeks ago, so I ended up getting one, and the discs look amazing!
