I don't like how some of you in the comment section are so disrespectful and mean towards Liz. It's SO unfair. She is a content creator, narrating her experience regarding securing a VISA to visit her parents-in-love. Most of the people in the comments saying mean things to Liz do not even know how hard it is for us [Africans] to secure a visa. How traumatic the experiences can be. The resources, time, energy and prayers that goes into securing a visa as a weak passport holder. Most of you would never know how tedious the process is because you are privileged to have a strong passport. It takes absolutely nothing to be kind to people. Nothing at all. But some of you are just unnecessarily MEAN! How can you all not tell the difference between someone narrating HER OWN EXPERIENCE and someone who is complaining? Applying for Visas is frustrating! The process is tedious. Just like they say in my country: it sometimes takes your flesh and blood! Yes! That's how frustrating it is. I hope that we learn to extend grace towards people around us ESPECIALLY content creators. Liz is human. She has feelings. Liz, I'm sending you loads of love and virtual hugs! 🫂 ❤You're a star! ❤ I look forward to seeing you in your next video. Shine on, star girl! ❤❤
I dont think people understand that she is a content creator... The people who need patience are the people commenting negatively. She is telling her story on what she is going through.... Hello.....
Look at the brighter side of things. You're living the life youve been praying for over the years.......to be in the UK with your man, and that happened. Anything else should be secondary, especially when this particular 'issue' is going to be solved down the line easily. Have patience!
Exactly what she expects we all have to do this on a daily basis from person to person. Gosh, welcome to the real world. You have had a great opportunity to live in the UK and this is what the rules of the land require you doing it once and you think the world has ended.
Liz your anxiety level is too high stay positive all this nag is not worth it wait for your time life is process you are docoumented some are not anxiety work on it
Liz, remember the long fight & struggle you had with trying to get your visa & passport from your home? It was ( I believe) a much longer struggle than this, but you made it thru all of that! We know that there will always be this renewal of visas, until you become a permanent resident! What makes us stronger people are the "struggles' & "obstacles" , we over come! There's a saying, "Keep your eyes on the prize", and don't let anything get in your way. The great news is you received your new visa! Congrats! Happy Friday!
I really like how Atti thinks and views situations. One must be intentional with regards to staying positive or having a positive mindset because it is easy to find many reasons( both minor and major) not to.
Oh hush, stop acting like you have no stress, no fear, no frustration in life… not to mention you guys are telling her to not complain while YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT HER… compassion goes a long way, try it rather than dismissing her feelings❤
What some of these commenters dont understand is that while in a foreign country until you get a permanent stay or citizenship your permission to stay is in the hands of someone else. I have lived it and I know what it is like. Thanks for sharing your story Liz. Some of us understand what its like.
I wish people would watch with empathy instead of watching to attack, and yes, this is only relatable to people in similar shoes, thanks for being kind!🫶🏾
Don’t stress yourself out, just do the things you have to do, it is what it is, you have some freedom that some people don’t have, thank God that you are blessed in the way you are blessed
Liz, commit everything unto the LORD, pray always and don't complain.... God's ways are always the best and his timing is perfect. He's always on time and never disappoints when we leave it all to him.🙏🙏
Hi Liz.. learn to be grateful and patient its too early to complain.. if am not wrong its one year in Europe and you have travelled to several countries outside UK.. my dear some are in Europe for years and they don't have European passport still fighting and waiting.. May Heavenly Father give you spirit of gratitude and patience
She has to research and know everything some European when you marry them they have no clue regarding the immigration. Remember U.K. and E.U. went separate ways hence marrying muzungu is not guaranteed but before hand one has to do the home work as first priority.
Sorry Liz one day this shall pass ,all things work a together for the good thanks Liz your videos are helping and educational but all this painful process leads you to the permanent papers🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Life is not always easy, when your up on the mountain. But the God of the mountain is the God of the valley. You are going to win all these games soon maybe not tomorrow but soon.
My visa here in Turkey was good only one year. We renewed it and now it will be good for 3 years. It's something that has to be renewed and processed unfortunately.
Each country has its own systems and processes just be patient and calm and comply I mean complaining is not gonna change how they do things, as a child of God patience is a fruit of the spirit.
Liz take faith from your husband..he is very strong in faith this man..I love when he says he also went thru the same drama when in Kenya & everything he went thru but he was happy never complined....Listen the devil is always after someone's happiness & joy..Pls pls have faith ,yo husband is always grateful for everything never complains..Wow!!..🙏..God knows everything & there is time for everything..If Jesus Christ went thru all that suffering why do u expect u to hv it easy in everything..no way my sister,!!!..we have to endure one way or other..your problem is visa & someone else is no food on the table, another one is cancer in his/her system ,the other one is divorce etc etc..count your blessings love & try not worry much..Phillipians 4 vs 6-7..👏Amen
Have faith in the Lord who afforded you to be in England at such a time like this. Learn to put your trust in the Lord my dear cause with Him all things are possible.
Liz, I understand your frustrations. When I first came to Austria, I was always worried about my Visa and stuff. The good thing is that now I have my Residence Permit so I can travel freely to all EU Countries 🤗 But incase we need to travel to England then I will also need to apply for a Visa. Those saying Liz is complaining much, she is Human and is allowed to express here frustrations and worries, be grateful that she is sharing her part of her life with us. If she does not share with us some of you complain. If she shares with us, you still complain 🤦🏾♀️ Keep going Liz and Atti ❤
@liz_atti I can relate. Been there, done that. I think you are doing a bit much about it. Trust me, the UK extension is much more tedious, expensive, and nerve wracking. I started saving towards the visa fee long in advance to take some of the pressure off
Wow, I never knew it is so hard to get a visa and that it’s a temporary thing. Chin up! You need to do whatever gets you through. You will be free of the red tape and happy very soon. God Bless you. Keep praying! 🙏🏽🙏🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏❤
In everything always give thanks. It's worth the process gal, because at the end of it all you will be able to say.... look what the Lord has done. Nothing great comes easily, it's a matter of perseverance dear. All the best It's well
Be encouraged and thank God for everything. Many have gone through the same process and now its a testimony . Have patience and know thats the reality and you are not alone in this. Be thankful it has worked out
Dont worry dear you are blessed there people who wish they would be in your shoes because they are application take more than the desired time .And its just reality some countries you must ask for visa its not only uk .but with God all things are possible.Remember what you confess with your mouth is powerful.Always confess positive things and they will come to you.Our pasaport is not weak we rebuke that ,we are blessed to be kenyans .
Hi our testimony couple ❤❤ we are standing with you in prayer. As a couple who just recently ended our distance and still has a long way to go in terms of documentation, we really understand you Liz. Applying for visas is so hard and takes a lot of strength. We are wishing you all the best and sending you both love ❤❤
I understand you girl. Immigration things are frustrating to everyone. Am in the USA and to go to Kenya, someone has to through a lot before they get visa to Kenya so I don’t think there’s any easy way out anyway where. We just hope one day things will get better!
Atti, ITotally understand what you needed to do to travel to Africa, but Liz's concern and anxiety is that they might reject her application - something you didn't worry about as a European passport holder.
Hey Liz, I feel it’s ok now that things work that way until you acquire citizenship. Thank God you are already in Uk. Otherwise congratulations girl. Hugs from 🇰🇪
Liz I'm sorry about your situation concerning the visa. Give thanks to God,the hearts of kings are in His hands. He is gonna compel them to favor you so be strengthen in that God is sovereign and He will glorify Himself on your behalf always. May God protect and preserve you both as you engage in spiritual warfare. Shalom Shabbat ❤❤
I understand you the most important thing is you're with you husband in the UK. It will be okay. My family and I were separated with our dad for 7 good years, the family is nowtogether. Here,we are now my turn to wait for my husband 😢 be grateful for what you have now.
I didn't expect the comments am seeing 😮 but she is not complaining now, seriously we content creators are like angel to people, we do have our feelings too and we like to always carry our friends online along with 😊what we are passing through... You can also share yours and laugh it off... God help all of us amen
As a travel junkie, i understand the weak passport & visa frustratuons. With your UK residence there are no countries you can visit with just that? Here in the US with my US permanent residence card( greencard) there are quite a number of countries i can visit with just that card and my weak passport.
I understand you completely. It took me 9 years and now a US citizen. It felt so good when i walked in the uk visa free, lol.. i didn't have to explain myself, no fear .. no more visas, no more spending money on immigration issues. God is good. You will get there someday. It's a journey, and trust the process. Look at youtubers like Dee mwango she has traveled to 50 countries with a kenyan passport, and getting another country passport doesn't happen overnight. Count your blessings, baby girl
One thing most we Africans forget... Is the disadvantages of the so-called "STRONG PASSPORTS" but at the end of the day it doesn't change WHO we're "ORIGIN"
Liz glad you got the visa. 😂 I can relate to opening the passport in the washroom to see what you got lol. 😂😂 Some of us have gotten many refusal/denial and cried in there lol. 😂 Atti narrating the struggles he got to visit Kenya. 😁 Girl get ready/be prepared to renew your passport and your visa till you get your citizenship. 🤍🙏
It is not because the UK has left the EU. I'm a jamaican living in the UK. I moved here jn 2016. I am now a UK citizen. And even back then, I needed a visa to travel to the Schengen area. It is what it is....if you apply as the spouse and not tourist, it is also less expensive. Please do your research before putting misinformation out there.....I understand that it can be frustrating...but just be thankful that it is still easier to apply and be approved for the visa as a BRP holder, than it would be if you had applied for it from Kenya. I get the impression based on your videos, that you are a God fearing person....Just remember to be thankful for small mercies, and remember there was a time it wasn't thus easy to apply for the visa
@@Zahra-xh5deha, I am married to a UK citizen. I did not come into the country illegally, nor do I have a criminal past, so there was no need for me to be worried.... Went through the application process for the 5 years, to me now being a UK citizen......plus I wasn't dependent on the UK government to look after me. I had my husband, plus I got a job within a month of moving here, and have been working ever since.....just so you know......
💖Liz, your feelings are valid! These people who tell you to stop feeling how you feel are trying to put you down and dismiss your feelings. Don’t listen to them, those comments are incredibly toxic. Just because you feel how you feel doesn’t mean you’re discrediting other problems of the world. This is your life, your journey. Some people are so self righteous they don’t even see your pain or fears. TRUE FOLLOWERS AND CHEERLEADERS who love you and Atti will never tell you to stop feeling how you feel EVER. Your whole visa process was traumatic you. It makes sense you don’t feel good when you have to deal with anything regarding visa processes. EVERYONE TELLING YOU NOT TO COMPLAIN IS COMPLETELY INSENSITIVE and RUDE. YOU are allowed to feel how you feel. YOUR FEELINGS ARE VALID LIZ. YOU ARE LOVED. Complain all you want, your fears and stress is real! Love you sister💖💖💖💖
I understand you my dear... getting Visa ain't easy for this (UK) country.....am glad im here to visit my family...my friend is going through the same to get visit her fam in Finland... God's time is the best ❤
Hi Liz. I think you have a track of God going coming through for you, you can always bank on Him to do it for you. The challenges and seemingly hardships are just a way for you to know that impossibilities do not exist with God. Believe God like you did befofe joining your husband. Sorry about your struggles. It shall be well
My wife is in the same case but abit different because we live in Europe. So for 5 years she had to renew her residence and working permit. Every year we had to produce papers. Now after 5 years she applied for a 10 years permit and got it. The struggle became less. Next step it is to get citizenship 💪🏾🇫🇷. Liz you have to look at it in the long term. Focus on the reason you came to the UK. And I can tell you that everytime you get a visa approved, you get a small win against this system.
Thanks so much for this information because me and Turkish husband we are trying for a Visa but its not easy at all. But l have understand more from you dia thanks dia. Much love from Uganda 🇺🇬 ❤️
She is not being negative - it's the anxiety and trauma that comes with Visa rejections! She finally thought thank god I am now here with my husband - she didn't know about Brexit. Alot of European passport holders and angry and frustrated about this Visa thing. Sadly it's extra for Liz, please show support and try to understand the situation she is in.
Hi Liz, one thing you should know is that the more you keep applying and getting the visa, the higher chances you have of getting long term Schengen visa. That's how Embassies work, one doesn't get a long term visa instantly, I'm speaking from experience. It takes patience...
