Latha, Mukesh and Rafi were gifts of God to Indians during the 1940s to the 1960s. My theory is that God sent the best singers and the best actors (Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar) to ease the pain of partition. It was a pleasure to hear them sing and in that process got some relief from that horrible thing that happened in India, called Partition.
IF there was a crown , only one crown for the king/queen of music and i had the opportunity to crown one singer. Lata Mangeshkar would be the first one on my list. When lataji is speaking, it is like Goddess Saraswati is speaking in her golden voice, this generation whoever have listened to her voice are blessed,as there was never before and there will never be in future another Lata Mangeshkar. Whoever agrees hit like👍.
