Nice collection, Martha. The honey pear cider from destination was ok, but honestly your friend made better wax … her honey pear cider was 5⭐️, shut the front door, good 🥰
Hey Martha! I love Dessa’s but I struggled at first and realized I wasn’t using enough of her wax to get a good throw. Now I warm an entire breakaway bars in my open concept and get great throw. Sometimes as heartbreaking as it is that vendor may not work for you, but fingers crossed it will! However if it doesn’t I will buy your scents! 😊
I have a hard time getting throw from Dessas as well. I have found I get the best throw if I put quite a bit in a old BBW candle and place in candle crock! Then it throws well!
So interesting about Dessa’s! In my home, it absolutely blows everything out of the room into the whole house. However KAEs, who so many people get amazing performance, has never worked for me. We should have some studies done on the things that affect wax in our homes!
As far as warmers, Dessa’s works in all my different types of warmers (I have every kind but tea lights) however I’ve only gotten it from destashes so I’m not sure about cure time!
I haven't ordered from destination for a while mostly because some of my favorite scents from them have been discontinued. I find that when the list is always the same, I don't tend to go back. I like variety 😅
I only have less than 10 scents on hand from Destination Wax atm - moon spice cookie was VERY strong, honey pear cider super light :'( Dessa's I also pre ordered end of last year and most was winter and bakery scents. I know the coffee on main was super strong. The other day I melted some circus concession but could barely smell it. (vendor wax I usually do tea light warmers).
I do notice that if I don’t actively follow a vendor in facebook it’s out of sight out of mind and I think that’s partly why I don’t have more Destination Wax. I’m going to use a whole snap bar or most of it in my open space with a few tea lights and see if I can enjoy my Dessa’s wax.
@@Martha_FragranceCorner yes, I got off Facebook a few years ago so any pre order stuff chatter I hear is only if someone mentions it on YT. but I'm always behind on videos so sometimes they are past - which saves me $$ too! :)
Dessas doesn’t perform well for me. I agree her blends are beautiful! I love Destination wax strawberry seeds 19:57 and Quickie Wedding! I get good performance after a good cure. 💜💜
I will melt my sample of quickie wedding. It’s a well loved scent. With Dessa’s I’m going to try and melt a whole snap bar downstairs and see what happens. Sounds like I wasn’t using enough to get good throw
I need to too. I'm not sure why I'm holding out hope for Dessa's. Maybe because I bought quite a few. After a year and a half I think I'm settling on my go to vendors
