lol, clicked the link to this video description after reading it myself. It’d probably work better at spooking other people, but my visit assumed I was in a neighboring country on a different os. I really appreciate the effort behind the joke though and absolutely love the idea of things like this hidden in personal websites. Great job! :)

its fairly straightforward, he makes a server to work with CORS. From that he uses ip-API. Also in the video he mentions the navigator in browser console. Thank you Tom for interesting stuff! (i saw this via Reddit).
