I still can't believe Colleen is pregnant with twins Lol, I was shocked enough to find out that she's pregnant but then a day later to find out she's pregnant with twins!! It's unbelievable.
Crying is caused by a chemical imbalance, not necessarily by "sadness." So its perfectly normal to cry when feeling and over abundance of any one emotion/ hormone/ chemical.
During my second pregnancy, I was watching a video of Christmas lights that were synced up to some rock version of a Christmas song and I was just bawling my eyes out. LOL It was ridiculous after the fact, but I was just so overcome by this one video for no apparent reason!

Coleeeeeen, please let your body cry, your body's getting rid of the excess of stress hormons through tears, they accumulate in your body and keeping them in is gonna eventually make you shake and twitch... Let the body relaaaaaax! That's why you're yawning too! (It triggers the stream of tears and helps you lower the blood pressure) You're doing so many exciting things, constantly producing cortisol and adrenaline, so the body is trying to get rid of them later, that's when you feel the need to sob. The body is lowering the stress levels, simply. It has nothing to do with emotions most of the time (well, actually emotions are rush of stress tbh, so that's why we cry when we feel rush of love or excitement). You may have the happiest life and at some point still feel the need to just sit, cry and feel miserable, but it's just for a short while, so let it happen ;) it's like a good reset. Ps. Eat magnesium ;) Ps2. After a crying sesh it's common to feel relaxed and hungry. Yes, hungry. That's the signal your stress levels went down. Stress blocks the feeling of hunger. Yes I was thinking the same thing! I really hope she sees this, if she doesn't want to cry she should definitely create a routine to purge. The book Burnout by Emily and Amelia Nagoski explains this very well!
I did too but i recently had surgery so my emotions and hormones are all over and now... I can't cry.. not a happy, sad, heartbreak nothing cry sigh it is frustrating. But @Snowstar527 you got this girl!
Colleen is literally so strong she went from having a horrendous pregnancy, to having a miscarriage, to being pregnant, to find out she’s having twins!!?? She’s so strong And also I kinda feel like she is my friend now because I I’ve been watching her vlogs for so long 😂
Just had a miscarriage last year, we lost our daughter. We recently found out we’re pregnant again and it’s terrifying. My nerves are wrecked. We’ve had 5 miscarriages previously and we keep trying even though they always end in heartache and disappointment. I’m so so happy for you that you get a double 🌈 🌈 rainbow babies! Congratulations loved you for years and always will.
I'm so sorry for both of y'alls losses! 💔 I've had 9 myself after having two perfect boys. Same daddy and everything but my body just freaked, I guess. Still hoping for my rainbow. My mum when she was pregnant with me and my 2 brothers (we are triplets), had the same symptom of gagging and throwing up, she found drinking lemonade or dry ginger ale (non-alcoholic) very helpful with these symptoms. Just thought this might help.

I had overactive gag reflex during all of my pregnancies. I would just be sitting around watching TV and would start gagging for no reason. It seemed to get better by the middle of my 2nd trimesters.
SAME. I feel like when I have a baby I’m going to be so prepared. I literally use to think pregnancy was just morning sickness. Literal sickness and vomiting in the morning. I had no idea any of the other things were common things. I wish MORE people would talk about the other things.

This is what I was going to say - I had horrific acid reflux during my last pregnancy (and sometimes even now). It can also make you cough (silent reflux symptom).
About “crying attacks”:) Crying is how our brain is dealing with all emotions-good or bad, it’s doesn’t matter.For example, you cry when you are happy. The same is here, you had a wonderful day with your family, you had plenty of emotions and now your brain is wanting to relax:) To deal with a tension of all great emotions you’ve just head. Our brain is weird and doing it with a help of tears. So it is tears and sobbing of joy😀
colleen said in her last vlog she wants people to not say they hope for a specific gender, cause she would feel bad! just say that you're guessing it's a girl.
When my anxiety is really bad it causes gagging episodes like that, I retch and my eyes water. It happens a lot for me around tests in college and when I get overwhelmed/overstimulated (usually by messiness or disorder that’s been bothering me for a week or more)
i love her pregnancy vlogs and videos and whenever she says something like "ugh sry i know a lot of pple r so bored of these videos" im like, "NOOOOOOOO keep making them!!!!!!!!!!"
Colleen honestly seems like the best mom ever. She is literally doing her best to get flynn out of the house and do enriching things like going to the zoo even with a worldwide pandemic and being preggo with twins. so much respect for this queen!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I've never been pregnant, but I know the urge to sob from my periods. My periods always want me to cry, even when there's nothing to cry about. For me it usually helps, when I take a short moment for myself and just let it out and get it over with. Holding it back for me personally usually makes it worse. I can't even begin to imagine what pregnancy might feel like, especially not with twins, but you're so strong and awesome. Thank you so much for talking honestly about pregnancy! I'm rooting for ya and the twinsies! 💕

I say she is having girls. Her system's are almost mirror to mine when I was pregnant with my twin daughter's 10 years ago. My system with my older boys was total different. Colleen you are doing amazing.

I'm not pregnant, but I also experience these random "crying" moments where I'm not sad or thinking about anything sad but my throat just starts to build up a sob out of NO WHERE

I'm a teen and you have helped me so much with figuring out how pregnancy can vary from person to person. You have prepared me for motherhood knowing that someone so petite is carrying twins and doing it so well. I thank you for putting out videos even when you are overwhelmed!!!
