In this video, I am joined by a very special guest, my Dad. I wanted to get him on to share his perspective and experience with adopting me and the whole journey of what happened from the very beginning to the end of the process of adopting me from China. I realized I was adopted not twice, but 3 times and I am forever grateful for my parents. They are true blessings of my life.

We adopted our daughter in 2003. The process took 18 months. She is now 22, a college graduate, and a wonderful young woman!

I found your channel by accident surfing You Tube when I couldn't sleep. The first vlog I saw was with your dad who seems super laid back...I wish I had such a mellow dad. Anyway, I have seen many more of your vlogs since then. Your mom seems amazing on the vlog you did with her. So when are you going to have your brother on? That would be very cool.

I appreciate your time on watching my videos. I honestly just do these for fun, as an outlet for my creativity so it truly means a lot when others watch & actually enjoy. Ya, my dad is generally a super laid back chill guy. Super generous and kind. I was very lucky to have the family I do. My brother lives in a completely different state. So it’s difficult to get our schedules to align

The funnier adoptions were the old days. Parents didn't go overseas and went to the US airport. The babies / kids would fly solo and would arrive. And, here's your baby / kid!

It was an opportunity to share insight with a man who has a pure heart of gold. It takes a very “special” person to adopt someone who doesn’t look like you & still treat them as their own. Yes, he’s not my biological father. But he’s way better than any father I could’ve had. the older I get the more I truly realize how fortunate I am. I personally know many people whose fathers want absolutely nothing to do with their own children.… that to me is unfathomably. So yea I decided to highlight a man who truly values family & faith which is rare to find nowadays it may be weird as a spectator looking in. But thats the entire point of my channel. Beginning this new self discovery journey with the most unique upbringing story
