My wife drew a sheep tag in an area not known for producing great rams. But, it’s right out our door and we were able to find some decent rams throughout trail camera and scouting season. We watched her number 1 ram(named Steve) 4 of the 6 days leading up to the hunt. Opening morning the wind changed while trying to locate where the rams were in the canyon I watched them go into the evening before, so they busted us and were gone before we could get a shot off. After 2 more days of trying to relocate Steve with no luck we were getting ready to leave for Thanksgiving and found this ram which had traveled quite a bit since earlier that morning. After some debate with herself, Erika finally decided to harvest this ram. It was a super fun hunt that we will never forget.
