Honestly ridiculous a grand for a knife? I feel like I myself spent too much at about 200 for my knife and another to 200 for my multi tool but I work ordinance/ammo for the air force and was active duty for a long time. I've had them for a few years and they are going like i got them yesterday. This just to walk around and drive around in your car i mean 🤷🏽‍♂️. No a dig either i find the videos entertaining and think some of the things are cool.

Honestly my buddy just asked me this the other day and I kind of terrified myself with the answer. Speedmaster, Sebenza, Ettinger wallet, and I sometimes carry a vintage Dural PPK...altogether on any given day I'm carrying something like $8k of EDC stuff. Not including a $1k briefcase from Japan, plus my shoes and suit...yikes.

My tip for all husbands out there. If your wife wants to look/feel better about themselves, give them the money to do it. Immediately. You benefit from this. And she loves you for it. Also, if your wife cooks. Buy her the best cooking pots pans gadgets you can afford. Show her you appreciate what she does and she’ll keep doing it.

💡 Idea for next video: Each of you pick 20 items from your hobby with separate price tags, and the other tries to match the price to the item. It would be fun to see you (Taylor) try your hand price-matching Alex's hobby, and also learn a bit more about her in the process. This was fun to mix up the vid style a bit!

My suggestion: do it the other way round. Your wife presents some of her „stuff“ such as cosmetics, clothes, shoes, jewelry,… If you win (at least 5 out of 10) you will get another edc item from your wife. If not you have to buy her a ring, necklace,…..

Nice to meet the Mrs., and fun to see the back and forth between you two, but also, WOW. I'm at the affordable end of range of EDC. I worry that if I ever tried some of the higher end versions, I'd get a taste for such, so I'll have to guard against that by take more of a 🙈🙉🙊 about such in the future--but I'll still be watching (love how you present things).

It’s justified if it’s an one-time purchase. If you buy a $400 flashlight and you use it constantly and it’s gonna last you a lifetime, it’s worth the investment. If that’s not the case, that’s just throwing money.

I've been a fan of your wonderful show for years Taylor, it was great to finally see your lovely wife. Like most women, she pretty much knows that she will win...no matter what. I've found this to be the case my entire life. Our women know that we love them very-very much, so they (within reason) know that what ever they want...if we can get it for them, we will indeed get it for them.
