My Wife's First Kimchi Challenge: A Hilarious Yet Genuine Journey
As a British (Cypriot) woman, I recently took on the challenge of making kimchi for the first time! 🥬🌶️ While following Chef Baek Jong-won’s recipe to learn the complex charm of this iconic Korean dish, I added my own unique style and clumsy moments, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
From mixing the ingredients to wrestling with the cabbage, this video is more than just a cooking tutorial. I’m not a chef, but... haha... I had so much fun learning about Korean culture. Making kimchi, which is such an important part of both Korean culture and my husband’s life, was a special and culturally enriching experience. I’m thrilled to make kimchi for my husband, as he’s been missing it a lot.
