Absolutely wild to me that the wife did absolutely nothing to salvage her relationship with her daughter by selling 170k worth of clothes to get some of the money back…she never really loved either of you but loved getting compliments from her rich friends??? from the streets she cameth to the streets she shall returneth.

Yeah not sure if I would really trust Susan and her intentions with her sticking around so much but that's just me and my messed up mind. I just think it would be best to focus on yourself for a while and avoid situations where something could just "accidentally" happen

I mean, her intentions are probably roughly what they appear to be. She saw a well off newly single man who apparently has the kind of heart that allows him to love a step child as if they were his own. So long as OP protects himself with a prenup should they end up getting married, it's probably fine.

Good thing OP didn’t take the blame. That could’ve permanently damaged his relationship with his daughter. Also, the wife is ridiculous for spending such a large sum of money, that could’ve changed the whole trajectory of her daughter’s life, just to keep up appearances!
