I am so impressed how you don‘t mind being imperfect, that you left this other colour line in your cardigan. I want to get there and celebrate my accidental imperfect creations that look beautiful anyway.
Hey Martina :-) I just want to say, that I love your channel and your energy. Sending you a lot of sunshine from Switzerland and looking forward to your next video.
Beautiful, beautiful Martina! Thank you for another breathtaking, fun and inspiring video. I love your projects, such gorgeous yarn colors and combinations. You’ve made me want to try Brioche now too😊. I cannot believe how big the puppies are getting!😮 Oh my, you must have your hands full !❤
I’ve also put off getting a swift and a yarn winder (or a binder 😉 haha) for a while. I always thought I’d rather get more yarn.. but I now reached the point where I can’t anymore! This year, I’m gonna try to use more yarn from my stash, and spend the money on tools instead. My cat used to love smelling and chewing on the yarn, so I usually put my project in a box or in a closet. She learned after a few months that she shouldn’t play with the yarn. Hopefully no more yarn will get attacked!
Hi Martina, I just found my way here and you have such a beautiful channel! Love how the fabric of both your cardigan and your jumper look. I've been eyeing some of Jessie Maed's patterns for a while but haven't knitted any yet, so your KAL (love the name btw) is the perfect inspiration!
I bought the wood winder after my metal one with a hard plastic wheel that warped, and started to pull my ball yarn too tight. So I purchased the kind Mico/Nico is looking at. I love it so so much. Great decision it is so very smooth, quiet, meditative. Plus, it makes wonderful balls.
What a wonderful video dear Martina, the music, you and Micke and the sunshine! Spring feels ❤️ im glad I could inspire you to update your equipment, it always looked so relaxing though how you caked up your yarn! so excited to do this KAL with you, thanks for your kind words 😇
Hi Martina! Enjoyed the little vlog, enjoy the swift and ball winder when they arrive. I always say you deserve to have good tools and it makes the craft so much more enjoyable. Love the fabric of the Big Rib Sweater 💜💜💜
Another lovely episode! I've been wishing for a swift since many years :D ; I was hoping my son in law would make me one...but still waiting ! At least I have a ball winder, it does make the work much easier especially for thin yarn! The Ripple Bralette is in my queue since I saw all your lovely versions, so hopefully I can join the knitalong !!
I just took a break and saw your new video 😊, how wonderful you already could enjoy a knitting moment outside in the 🌞 I am countdown for that moment to come here ... The big Rib sweater looks great also the yarn you used for it . I am a bit behind with my knitting , knitting sleeves in a light weight 'airy' and hairy' 🙂 wool in the colour 'rust brown' with needles 3,5 , it feels it takes ages hahaha . I also like the vest , the pattern but also the colour . Ohhh and the dogs are grown so big already and it is so nice they have each other to play with although wool seems also a very good "playmate" 🤭😬 . Wish you a wonderful knitting week. 🌸ps I would loved a piece of the cake you made .
Ciao Martina!
