I gotta say this...If I EVER come in to a large sum of money, like winning the lottery, you know what one of the things I want to do is? I will call Make A Wish or contact them somehow, and grant a couple of wishes for kids, no questions asked, and the charity wouldn't be on the hook for any expense at all. I love this stuff, love the videos even more. I've never known anyone that's been through tough times like this, but I don't care, this stuff is AWESOME like I said. Keep it up.
When I flew one way to move to Germany.... even though it wasn't much, I gave my flier miles to Make a Wish. I got a letter that said how grateful they were, even if a person only gave one free mile, or hundreds of thousands.....so I know any gift is appreciated.
I just pray this kid got the kidney he needed. God bless Jeff, his family, Make A Wish, Dale Jr., all of Nascar, and all involved for making this kids dream come true.
Jeffrey, I just came across your story I buddy me and my family are be on happy for you and your family. I hope you are feeling great and the best of tomorrow's to YOU. You are a very strong young man and you have a great family. GOD BLESS!
Obviously, you've never been in that type of situation, sir. When you are a dealt a difficult hand in life, these types of experiences make you feel special. I've had many of them and they have all given me strength in difficult times.
I would have loved to meet Dale Sr. and/or Dan Gurney, but almost 45 years of good health have been a good consolation prize. Makes me smile when the drivers spend time with fans, and I can't imagine being a kid and being that sick.
Heartwarming story, Dale Jr and the NASCAR boys really do have hearts of gold. I hope Jeff is feeling better. I know Jr. took all the clouds away and provided pure sunshine for 1 day in Jeff’s life🙏😃😂😇
My mom has stage 3 kidney failure, I was ruled out of being a donor because of my kidney problems. I wish the best of this family, I hope Jeffery is better..
I am so happy to hear that he got his kidney! It gives me hope. Just found out that my son has PKD & will need a kidney transplant . If you could add RJ to your Prayers, I would appreciate it. God knows who Randall is. Thanks.
Thanks for watching our videos & commenting, Kyle. Wishes are hard to quantify if you've never met a wish kid. A 2011 U.S. study of wish impact found: Most health professionals believe a wish-come-true can have positive impacts on the health of a child. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illnesses, and their parents say these experiences helped strengthen the entire family. Wish experiences are life-changing experiences. It's why we believe so strongly in our mission.
i was like wow why was Brad K there i forgot he raced for Jr ... loved to see Jr bring his team to the sprint cup and hire Brad K and jeffery to drive for him
This is more than a dream of mine. I always wanted to take on a nascar driver at a go kart track, and honestly what jeffery experienced, id like to hv that. Jimmie Johnson is my hero. I dont hv a serious condition like jeff’s. Just minor incurable things.
In the UK we have changed Organ Donation to Presumed Consent and you have to OPT OUT of donating. This has lead to a decrease in the number of people awaiting organ transplants.
I'm 15 years old now but when I was about 8 years old I wanted to drive go karts competitively and my parents thought it would be a good thing for me to do and I really loved watching motorsports so I really wanted to try it. but then my parents found out how much a small go kart cost and how much it costs to maintain it. and that was the beginning of the end of that.
Dale Earnhardt Jr you have one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen to cool man. Jeffery you to have a big heart and an awesome family. Jeffery, You Dale Earnhardt Jr and your family are in my prayers for a kidney for you.
Racing karts with two pro drivers, hanging out in the shop, being backstage at the race, those are all cool but a conversation with THE KING HIMSELF I’d have fell out right there
If I was Dale Jr I would have a mile long Daytona I my backyard. And beside that I would have a Bristol besides that. Daytona banked 31 degrees and Bristol banked 36 degrees.
I don't know about some of these things. The idea is really, really nice but when you get into really prying and hurtful questions and when people just let them win, it's a little much. I mean, he's a teenager, he got to know they're just letting him win which I'm sure kind of makes him feel diminished. Still, it'd be a really awesome experience.
It's right outside of Bangor, near Dysart's Truck Stop off of I-95. In fact, I thought Speedway 95 would have been mentioned in there. Also, it's "Hermon", so that'll make it easier to find.
