I'm a Red Sox fan and this was a very good thing that Derek Jeter has done. he's done plenty for organization's and charities but this video right here had me smiling the whole time. Rivalry's aside the Yankees are pretty cool for this.

This episode means so much to me. I'm 14 and have Crohn's disease. I was on the break of letting go to. I was diagnosed when I was 11. I got down to 65 pounds. To this day I think about that. I used to throw up all day everyday. But I luckily had surgery last November where they removed 8 inches of my intestine. I wish the best of luck to this kid!

I have some family members with this disease. It's rough to say the least. As a Yankee fan, I was touched so much by this video. I hope Steven is doing well and God bless him and the New York Yankees.

It’s obvious I’m a Cubs fan, but I have always had the utmost respect for Derek Jeter. He is always a class act on and off the field. He is a charitable man. He played the game with integrity. One of my all time favorite athletes. Mostly because of his character as a person.

I saw Reggie Jackson play! I was at the Royals Vs The Yankees once. I got a picture of Reggie's back.... my dad cried when he saw it. Greatest day of my life.

Here is an update and quote I found on him. It is from 2016, but at least he seems to be doing well. "My wish gave me life. For a time period, it kept me hopeful and determined to get through tough times. It's the No. 1 highlight in my life. No other experience I've had/will have will be as impactful as this one. Now 21, I am a photographer, writer, cinematographer, graphic designer, DJ and musician," says Steven.

I have respect for jeter, but he crushed my whole view on him when i was little. it was a tampa vs new game, and he was signing autographs, it came my turn, he looked right at me, smiled, signed someones glove behind me, and walked right away. I thought i was gonna cry cause i looked up to him so much.
