That looked like it hurt. my worst crash was indoor karting and i was trying to take a corner flat when it needed a lift so that i could improve my lap time. I understeered into the wall, visor flew off the helmet, ran it over and smashed it. The there was 2 people just behind me who both crashed into the side of me making me spin again
Here's Super GT having a HUGE moment on the outside of the turn, apparently deciding it would be better to turn left on a right-hander, and he goes to have a little chat with our dear friend, Barry R.
Hey Steve!! I just won my first karting trophy Last Friday at Yas Kartzone!! I came third in the overall points standings!!!! I have watched you quite a few time and most of it was on Quadrant haha. I’ve taken some inspiration from you which has been encouraging me to try harder and win races. I came third for the points and the Principal or whatever position he is he’s on of the heads of the CRG Team noticed me and was watching me and on the track and not on the track. He was pretty much right next to me when I got out of the go kart. He was watching me on the podium when we had the points trophy’s. it was unexpected when I got called and I was 5th in the standings for points but the race got me extra points and led me to third. I nearly went to Belgium for the SWS International Finals, ( I race in SWS ) Just wanna thank you for all the inspiration from watching you really appreciate it!!
My bro when he was 16 once got blocked, flipped landed ontop of him (lucky no broken neck), kart then caught and kart wheeled down the track throwing him out like a randomly and left him lying in the middle of the track, and they didn't red flag the race. Mid 90's at Dunkeswell. My dad ran straight down the circuit to where he was lying and only then did they stop the race. Stewards had a serious bollocking.
Every kart crash looks and feels like you're going 10mph but they always fucking suck, hope your ribs are fine man, I'm recovering myself right now hahahaha
i remember i had a bad karting crash at teesside auto drome, got hit in be back by someone on the final 180 bend at full speed. massively bent the rear axle, had mild whiplash and had pins n needles in both hands for 6 weeks
