I've been trying to make Dragon Link work for so long and you've kind of pushed me into the tough decision of dropping the rokket package for the Horus engine. Do you feel this is the best variant? Would you make any changes to this deck for the upcoming format? I'm considering making a full going second variant with HT's, snatch steals, double little knight.
im testing alot right now. im like 99% sure the horus engine is the best thing to add to your deck, just the amount of starters and extender its adds is too good. playing rokkets and horus worked out great for me to, just the non engine pieces where not enough but depending on the format that should be super fine. also testing some horus bystial synchro variants which i really liked so far
I dlink it always seemed too much of a commitment needing a lvl 8 dark, lvl 6 light and a lvl 4 light and dark target for it to be always alive, even then it can lead to bricks In Joshua's list it seems very good of giving extra tuner access while also doing something else in dodging stuff, clearing emz for extra runic summons etc. it feels like the perfect card in that deck I really like it.
I m going back to Assault Synchro and playing a Diabollos instead of the Ravine Package, the Tribute Engine is more explosive and for me, the Ravine Package is a Little Bit bricky in a Heavy Handtrap Format
Ultimately I cut all synchro tools as they all felt like win more cards and bricked me quite a bit tbh Romulus while it's weaker to hts helps getting the deck into a consistent endgoal I valued the consistency over the power.
@@professorsunreis yes you Right, the Synchro Lines Are just plus if you have Access on it, to have a clear line is better in 9 rounds of Swiss instead of a Toolbox Deck that burning your Head in a Great Tournement! Before looking your Video i Play a lot with number 38 on locals Yesterday, and i have to say, it s come insane and Carry a lot of the I:P/Seal Endboard, the Battle Protection come more often then the Spell negate 😅
Not sure on your point around 11:30 if the sarc was removed you will still gain the Imsety or any other horus effect. You also mentioned TT for an example, but if sarc is in play your Horus monsters would not be destroyed.
Most of the spot removal people would use to trigger the Horus cards would probably just be used on the sarc instead is my point Every deck has an out to sarc and will always safe it for that if they see me using it so realisticly Horus monster will never trigger
Wingbeast for Romulus lines if I don't need/want the zombie vampire Ideally I use lubellion+ imsety to go into vampire, getting regained out so we don't mill it, then we can use the winged beast Horus for Romulus if we want to In the whole testing on field effects never came up for me.
