2 months ago i stumbled on the whole store closure, so i drove to my parents house because i stored all my old 360 games in the basement i was sitting on over 120 games, and i've been slowly buying more the past few months and im sitting at just shy of 300 all unique (granted theres 20ish that are sports games i'll never play) I just find it a fun hobby that I can collect at a fair price
Why do people in general buy games they don’t plan to play or like ? I’ve never understood. I get collection but if you aren’t going to play it why spend the money for it ? Confused.
Most of them I’ve gotten pretty cheap, so the money side of it is inconsequential. I like having the games in case I do decide to play them at some point. I also enjoy the collecting aspect of it just as much as playing the games. For example, my best friend enjoys collecting games with me, but he never plays any of them, so it’s all up to preference.
I collect sealed games accessories and consoles for every console so not only will I not play them but they will stay sealed in all honesty I just really enjoy owning the history in the most pristine way I can so I guess it just depends on your personal level of ocd lmao some people collect ones they want to play some collect every game no matter the condition and some collect sealed it’s all about the person whatever makes you happy is what you will do🤷🏻♂️
