This brought me to tears because I'm one of the many people who did exactly what you're advocating not to do! I gave in to thinking that my story wasn't worth sharing. I wasn't even told by others, though. I told myself that. When I should have been my own biggest cheerleader, I instead became that person who didn't believe in the things I was creating, or even the process of creating more to get improve my filmmaking. I let myself down when my friends and family believed in me. I think I cried because if I hadn't given in to my self-induced self-doubt, I would be somewhere completely different in life right now, and I can't help but feel that the train has left the station and I've missed years of practice and progress. This video is really getting me to think, though, and I really want to get back into the deep end. Wish me luck! Live a good story.

Sam, I just stubbled across your channel and I have to say I am inspired. For many years iv filmed off of a iphone to make videos of my own consumptions and some posted. I have always wanted a quality camera because I truly believe that's my calling, to make quality videos for others to enjoy. I recently acquired a canon M50 and plan to use it full swing. Thank you, Sam, for your video here of Your Story. I have been retired for several years now and my wife and I renovated and remodeled an Old Dairy/Diner to a 5-star restaurant. Over the years and with much stress, we decided to sell. During that time and I have been filming many different businesses that are supporters of our restaurant such as wineries, breweries, distilleries and more. This had helped these businesses see up to 30% increase in their business plus I love to film. Well since we closed, my doctors found I have a Life Threating Thoriac Aorta Aneurysm. This was a punch right in the gut. I spent many hours and days rethinking of what I am doing and then I came across your video a while back which said really clear, yes this is it. I am not sure how long I have however, more improvements every day and so far, I have been doing great health wise. Since traveling and filming I know years have been added to my life. Thank you. You are an inspiration. Today I hiked and filmed in the Adirondack Mountains in Vermont, so we are looking good. "Live a Good Story"
