I grafted my seedling Palora onto a very long root stock probably 4’.5” tall. The Palora now has 2 huge branches about 2’.5”-3’.5”. Should I cut the Palora below the graft keeping the root stock and root it or is it best to just cut the Palora branches. Thanks.

Probably branches, but they would probably thrive either way.

Nice! So it took about 4 months for that grafted growth? What is a good time to start grafting? I can do it now? I am in Zone 9B. Thanks!

Anytime, but it's best in the spring in my opinion, after the last bout of cold weather.

If any one is looking for the yellow dragon fruit plant to grow ? Mimosa Nursery East LA. 6270 Allston St. Los Angeles have them for $15. a pot. Some of the plant is 2-3ft tall. I just bought 8 pots yesterday in LA.
