it can be if you make it that complicated. you dont need too much to be honest. just a microphone and a way to record your gameplay. if you wanna stream, you need a camera/webcam. its not that terrible unless you get really deep into it
If anyone cares, you should be playing your console games on a monitor for the best results and less input lag between when you push a button and when the action actually happens. Also, it's less strain on your eyes.
it's currently 3:53 in the morning in Australia just woke up early in the morning to watch this video coz of the notification was ringing.. good setup brw
I just started the video, but I noticed you went with a lot of diffusion to cancel out some of the reverberation. If you put carpet in that room, or a big ass rug in the middle of your reflection point, you'll see a big difference in that room as well (I noticed you have a cement floor)
Man there’s no way I would have used glue on my walls. Why not just some custom panels, you don’t need that many. Just in the reflective areas of the room which is the rear, the corners, the front, and the sides from center of where your setup sits. Yes the wires are a hazard outside of looking really bad.
Would you be will to, or have you already, post a youtube vid of how you get ready to start a stream, during stream, and post stream? My son is getting interested in doing the same as you and I'm interested in helping getting him started. But it's no good to have all of the equipment if you don't know how it works all together.
"Yeah I know my cable setup isn't the best what's the worst that can happen I have home insurance" A few moments later "Ahh fucking shit ah I just tripped over a wire I can't believe I just tripped over a wire" -Troydan 2018
