Mya is underrated because she refused to be passed around I would argue she was one of the best dancers and singers of the 90s she was one of my favorites
Me too. The videos today most of the times don't go with the songs / lyrics. You listen to the song first and then watch the video and your like what the F***? Who came up with this concept. I just don't understand🤔 and alot of these videos are starting to look alike. Alot of people are copying off each other.
Mya was never commercialize by choice . She knew her worth and her music was most important to stand out and not her to be sexualize. She has stood the test of time and it shows. There are others rediscovering her, what I already knew. ❤️🎵🎶🎼
He actually wrote and produced the song for her. It was only supposed to be her singing on the track. While in the recording studio they decided to add him in the song at the last minute. It was a hit… 🤗❤️
@@TaraGeorge711 I agree. Alot of the shyt they got nowadays ain't as good as the 90's and early 2000's music in my opinion. Best music ever in that era.
A lot of people tend to leave Mya out the '90s girl rotation of Brandy, Monica, and Aaliyah eventhough she arrived later in the decade. I'm telling you if all four came together on a track... it'd have been magic.
Who ever had Mya and Dru Hill collaborate was a genius. Her and the lead singer voice really compliment each other. This is back when people did Features because it worked musically & not just for money. Don’t y’all notice that today’s collaborations are so forced and corny. Anyway this song is GOAT vocally!! they are flowing on the track, Dru Hill lead singer is giving me life with his runs lol 💯💯🔥🔥
@@yolandaperry3891 go look at mya training dancing she can poplocking like hell she dont show her real level on music clips aaliyah was not on her level
I Miss This Kind Of Music MYA & Sisqo (Dru Hill), Brandy, Monica, SWV, Toni Braxton, Aaliyah R.I.P. Baby Girl An Angel, BlackStreet, Keith Sweat, Tamia, Jon B., Next, All-4-One, Brian McNight, USHER, N Many more It's Hard to remember I was like 14 Yrs old!! Wow That was A Long Time Ago... ❤💕🌷🎹🎶🎧🎤💯
HerMusicOnline I know that's right. Rihanna is the only other black female that can eat because she's connected to Jay-Z. Other than that, ya'll better start selling perfume and get on reality tv
As weird as this may sounds, I gotta give this song credit for helping me rediscover my love for music. 2017 for me was a dark period but this song help me take the first step to get outta that
I remember when this song came out Mya was my friends tap dance teacher in MD. The song was just starting to blow up and she wasn’t around as much, but she came to their recital and they brought her out at the end to say hi lol. I thought that was so nice of her. Ive liked her ever since.
Sisqo was always super theatrical, such a great performer. This song just made me watch so many videos from the 90's, one of the best eras in R&B hands down.
Mya is such a talented beautiful lady and is also a talented female actress and is also a female talented underrated singer and her talented career is going strong 💪🏽
