Hi Chris, can you tell me what practical help you have given to the people of Myanmar instead of talking? I will refer to the British documents, a large number of Bengalis migrated to Arakan during the British period. Where are these people now lost? Are these people now demanding recognition of the Rohingya name? The term Rohingya does not appear in any history books before 1952, not even in the British archives. People of Myanmar and Rakhine don't care about names, whatever you want to call yourself Rohingya, Bengali or Burman. All will be solved by acknowledging the true history of their immigration. Rakhine people also acknowledge that Arakan and Bengal have had connections and relations since hundreds of years. There aren't the same between historical context and human rights issues. All civilians are victim of human rights violation in Myanmar.
