I couldn't find alot of info on these liners before i bought them so i decided to do an out of box review highlighting the features of this liner to inform other before making a purchase
This is the best vid I've seen on these liners!! Thanks bro!! I knew right if the bat you was an OG too! Rockin the mindgame beanie and the England hoodie!!
Great review !! i had the same dilema, FAT BOY vs. CROWN liner to RB twister shell.. Some people dont advise Crown liner because it says they are too thick for this shell, but i saw crown in twisters and guy said, that it gives you support like no other liner, and crown liner is better like intuition liner if you have narrow feet, which i had. So this your video give me more enough informations to choose Crown liner,. Nice to heard and see difference between inner soles, padding, and durability. THANKS!
justin winton I could see these being really good for a Salomon. I have fat boys in mine, she this is essentially a full, more supportive fat boy. could depend on shell. also good liner if you're shock absorbers are toast
Good review, really informative. I'm a tight US 9.5 in Nike. Do you know if once the fatboy's have been heat moulded, whether this allows for any more room??? I'm looking to downsize but don't know whether to go for a size 9 or a size 10 fatboy for downsizing and comfort. Looking to downsize valo and usd thrones.
Jack Todd well Nike are generally narrow, and fatboys are all neoprene, so you could very likely go with a 9. my friends a Size 10 he gets size 9 fatboys which fit him like a sock. thanks for the feedback
Hi! Very informative video. I got a pair of next black core 110, they come with the myfit recall liner, it's size 12-12.5 but a have some extra room inside the skate, I'm more like size 12. Do you think this will give me more support and control or it will be the same than the stock liner? Thanks
Recalls are excellent liners, but your will DEFINITELY get more support and fill from the Crowns. I might suggest removing the support cuffs on the Crowns if you put in your NEXT as I think they'll be too stiff.
I know I’m late to the party, but I’m looking at these because my inner ankle bone is killing me. I run on aeon 60s , they came with the 2nd skin which kills my ankle, reign helped but I think an even thicker liner would be great. How thick is the padding where your ankle bone would be? Probably where the red is
I got a question....when heat moulding do I need to take off the support, foot pad and the heel pad? I saw one video that says the footpads could melt made me wonder about the heel pad. Love the support in my usd7 now but need to heat mould cuz the tongue causes cramps after a while. Thanks
Andrew F yes, you need to remove everything that isn't the liner before molding then put them back together in a timely manner. Don't use to rush, takes about 20 min to cool
I think they would be a bit too thick/bulky for the NEXT. There are much better liners for rec skate, these are pretty specifically an aggressive skate liner
