A quick run through of my Myford Super 7 lathe.
Manufactured in 1996, I purchased this lathe recently after having been using a Warco WM180 for the past few years. The lathe came with quite a comprehensive amount of tooling , three chucks, face plates etc.
Sat pretty much unused for the last ten years the lathe needed nothing more than a good wipe down, a de-gunk and re-oil. Prior to that it was lightly used for model engineering cutting mainly brasss and aluminium.
Ive added a few tasty extras such as Myford swivelling slide, rear tool post and a DRO set.
Ive manufactured a swarf tray, chuck mount and slide protectors for the carriage and the DRO.
I also made the tailstock DRO using a set of old digital calipers which is very worthwhile doing and easy to make.

Was easy to install and hopefully will tighten up my tolerances !!
