Mykolaiv is the oldest city on the territory of Ukraine, but even among the locals, few people know about it. Cimmerians, Greeks, Lithuanians, and Ukrainians lived here long ago, Russians first appeared here at the end of the 18th century. So why does Russian propaganda insist that "Nikolaev is a Russian town"? Why did this city in Ukraine have an unwritten pro-Russian status until recently? How did Mykolaiv become a hero city and a southern outpost of Ukraine? How does the city live today under constant shelling and what is the mood of the local population? See the answers to these questions in the next series of the KHASHCHI project.
We are also sincerely impressed and grateful to the people who continue to support our project in this extremely difficult time! All our activities are based on your loyal support.
If you have the opportunity, join, but remember that the most important thing now is the support of our military!
