Hey BootsandUtes, thanks, bro. As a Californian and longtime Indians now Guardians fan, yeah, SF's season is pretty much over but, they were impressive last year with 107 wins! Pretty Amazing accomplishment!!!! The Giants could be back to the playoffs in 2023, they just need to tweak somethings and add some missing pieces. Go Guardians! ⚾⚾⚾

@@robertcurry7860 Yeah, the Giants had a tremendous team last year. This season our bats suffered quite a bit losing Buster Posey to retirement and Belt to a nagging injury (his production has been subpar before his recent season-ending surgery). Not to mention Longoria is on the decline. We need a power hitter to awaken our offense next season. As for the Guardians, they are constantly exceeding many people's expectations with their hearts and guts -- especially as a young team. The ability of the Guardians to rally with their never quit attitude and pull off rather dazzling comebacks all season makes them fun to watch.

@@BootsandUtes Hey again, yes I agree. Those are three big bats missing from the Giants regular starting lineup from last year. The retirement of C Buster Posey last year and as you mentioned, 1B Brandon Belt's nagging injury and 3B Evan Longoria's decline is a lot to one team and major offense production missing. A Big thank you sir, for the terrific comments about the 2022 Guardians and how they have impressed a lot of people around the country and how they are on the cusp (their Magic # is 5 on this Friday morning), of wining the AL Central Division Championship. The front office loves analytics and I think recently has seen a market inefficiency in guys like Kwan. None of this launch angle/three true outcomes/exit velocity baseball. Just put the bat on the ball, make things happen, run hard play hard. It's fun and it'll bring casual fans back to the game

Such professionals but they're still loose and have fun! It's like everything the Padres were looking like last year except they collapsed at the wrong time and we're peaking at the right time.

I don't know if I've been more proud of any Cleveland sports team other than this club. For me they rank up there with the 89 Cavs, 95 Indians, 2016 Cavs and Indians for most memorable. But they are blue collar, gutsy, and have no divas. What's not to love?

Straw & Hedges seem to be likable guys and are defensively solid. However, you're right in that they both need to add about 75 points to their BAs to be legit.
