I have a question. How can i buy the items (like in normal dota) each part individuelly, so that i don´t have to save up to 5000 gold that i finally can by the item?
@octi911 It depends on the strategy the team chooses as well as the other team picks. Sometimes, the Earthshaker acts as a support and helps the other heroes level up. Other times, it's a little difficult for the Earthshaker to farm for levels. The strats in Dota are really, really complex and I can't explain it really well, but it comes down to what has been banned and what's left to use.
I wish people in Matchmaking would stack stuns like these guys do. Instead of everyone stunning at once, let one person stun, then when it wears off have another stun dropped on them. So fun to watch these guys and the commentators make it the best.
@10zlotych You forgot AOS, which was the first 'MOBA'. Then the multiple AOS clones for War3 that came before DOTA, then DOTA, which was NOT created by IceFrog.
@10zlotych This game is soooo not low graphics, it's actually more intense and dark. I agree with you completely even though I play LoL, I understand that DotA was first and this game is well done.
@10zlotych actually dota started off as a starcraft mod, and then evolved and its not icefrog who started dota.. there is a video on machinima with all history of this DotA as a mod..
@octi911 earthshaker is a support hero. he mainly just goes around ganking and helping other heroes that need him. its more important for the carry heroes to get the exp and money. The only thing earthshaker really needs is a blink dagger.
@10zlotych technical dota was based of a basic mod for starcraft that had very basic moba qualities but i agree with u i have been playing moba since dota and people need to learn their roots

Okay. I like the graphics, because it's the way ICEFROG AND GUINSO'O Pictured the map, AND heroes. Got a good gameplay, it has good story, it IS good. Now about LoL and HoN. They're two PROJECTS, based on dota. LOL was actually released to test dota2 gameplay, for those who are not informed.
I'm slightly offended that the commentator called Windrunner and Drow Ranger "the two lovely ladies of DotA" and completely neglects Rylai. Only slightly though because it just means more Crystal Maiden for me.
LoL and DotA2 are totally different games, and your LoL Experience won't explain much! Last hit. Deny. Solo mid. Jungle. Roaming. Carry. Gank. Tower Dive. Stuns - pulls. Please. All I had to do was look on a wiki for the heroes, and I understood everything that was happening in the game much better then someone who's never played LoL. The differences in the game is how these mechanics are applied, not in the fact that the mechanics are different. Because they really aren't at all.
