@@diegoleylandia in the end I decided on a very simple stat with an on/off button and up / down temps buttons. Made by Sphere. I have underfloor heating throughout in zones and it is all I need. Simple and easy to use. These are significantly more economic than Nest, which are more geared to total in-house control with remote control facility via the net, which I don’t require as this my permanent residence. Does anybody know why the relay's behind these stats break down? In the last month I've had a Hot Water stat relay stop then most recently, an underfloor stat's relay (back box) failed, none are over five years old. BTW They aren't available separately and you have to purchase complete stat assemblies!
Could not agree more, unnecessary complicated and too many options. The app is easier but as to date I cannot find any instructions or video. Consequently I cannot use all of the features.
