When you look at the original photos you can tell these are not temporary buildings, walkways, retaining walls, man-made lakes, waterways, fountains, etc. The fact that they were all fully lit up at night with electricity sends the narrative to dust. All 40 thousand workers (ex-slaves, prisoners, and new immigrants) were graduates of the Michelangelo University of Architecture & Sculptors as well. LOL.

Not built by our civilisation. Back then we neither had the money, the manpower, the motive or the materials or the skills. Even today after 'progress', the costs would be laughed at. Look at old photos of your own town, to see how much destruction has happened recently, a building here,. a park there - it adds up over time.

How can you tell they are not temporary buildings? You realize the whole goal was to not make them LOOK cheap while being cheap. So if you see something that looks like a legit building that just means they did a good job. And if you actually LOOK at the statues you know for real who built it and when it was built. The style is typical for hte 19th century and many of the motives relate to the US or the world of the day and age. And the narrative says that they had to built a connection to a power plant specifically for that event..so we would defnitely expect them to use this extra electricity. And the workers didn't had to be all experts in Carving...in fact nobody had to be...because they made the statues out of plaster or other cheap materials. I hate to break it to you but the same is the case if you go to a theme park. We can make things LOOK like stone or marble. And it getseven more interesting if you look at the statues who depict things that again...would PERFECTLY fit the narrative like an US soldier in his uniform. All the motives of the statues as well as the building styles show that we don't look at some strange forgotten culture..but at things that come from our civlization(s). Thats why we find a Japanese looking building next to an arab one next to a german one.

Well....no. We did not inherit them..as the photo in this very video shows. The area was basically swampland before the exposition..but not unkown...it was so close to the city that there is no chance people wouldn't have discovered those buildings. Also..if we look at the motives and the art styles used here..we clearly see that it is no other than OUR civlization responsible for them. We have depictions of things that are connected to us...like US soldiers for example. The art style is very clearly the one use don many buildings in the 19-20th century.

@@oBarbinha Yes...they have the same architecture style because they were all organized by either Europeans and Americans in the 19-20th century. And for that reason we mostly see architecture styles that were in fashion in Europe or America between the 19th - 20th century. We see a lot classicism, and neo-barock and neo-gothic, and other historicism-styles who were all popular in that time, some exposition had "exotic" styles, and often we see different Pavilions that are country themed (a thing that we still do btw) ...the exact stuff we would expect from a big 19-20th century event and that matches other building projects. I'am not sure what else you would expect. Also...those were big events that people took notice of...so obviously when the feedback for one exposition was positive..the others tried to top that,...often going in a similar direction. I think it was somewhere in the 50ties when the first World fair used modernist buildings. And yes...buidling that in 2 years is more than possible...because most buildings you see are just a few exposition halls with steel skeletons, and a lot of plaster and spray-paint put on to LOOK like palaces or temples. So why wouldn't they be able to do that in years..especially if the organizers hired every craftsmen they could get ahold of. Those were giant prestige projects with LOADS of money and ressources put into them.

There was nothing mysterious about this. It's not ancient history, and the end of the 19th century was very different from the end of the 18th century. It's extremely well documented. The Museum of Science and Industry was built with a brick substructure because it held extremely expensive pieces of art during the fair. The rest of the buildings were was staff. People were actually just smarter back then, had skills, and they worked very hard. And remember, their noses weren't glued to phones while they watched dog tricks on RU-vid. By the way, 80 years later (or one fairly normal lifetime), Chicago built the world's tallest building, the Sears Tower, in about the same amount of time.

Some people just can't imagine that anything beyond their own abilities could have been done centuries ago. Sometimes I am lectured to by young people about how it was when I was growing up. Funny how NO_ONE ever recorded those buildings...and why would people find those buildings than show them everyone and than tear them down? The point is that the opposite is the case. They were built to last for a short time which should perfectly explain why they hve been torn down. And the point is....we basically still do this. We STILL built temporary structrures...especially for expositions or world fairs. And it should be obvious why they tore it down...you coudn't built "real" palaces..and it would be MUCH to expensive just for an exposition. An exoposition means they had the money and personal to maintian those structures for a short time..but after that they would have quickly ruined everyone who owned them. Thats why we built structures that LOOK fancy and are easy to get rid of in some cases.

@@tartriuspheonixdadam9308 I'am not sure what part of my comment was insulting...but that wasn't my intention. - And it not about trusting history books...its about NOT trusting people who have no evidence to back up its theories and who debunk theories of others by declaring things "impossible" or making claims about them having technological features that they can't demonstrate, or believe timelines that are not backed by a shred of evidence. The difference is mudflooders on the internet claim whatever they want..and if they are getting pampered by their fellow muddies and not challenged. If you come up with a batshit crazy idea in a mudflood comment section..you are not told to back it up or criticized you get compliments.. I understand why this is so attractive..but thats the opposite of peer review..and it has the opposite results. - "there's nothing wacky or suspicious going on," There are LOADS of wacky suspicious and unexplainable things going on in history..but NOT any of the things that mud-flooders think is wacky or suspicious. Those are usually just easy to explain things that can be found out with an under 5 minutes google search. He needs to present ACTUAL evidence that has to survive a critical peer review where people will demand hard evidence for all your claims..and will be not okay with you just claiming "they couldn'T do it" or "doesn'T that look like" or "I don't believe it". If you read actual historic books you notice the effort those people put in their work..and that is in NO way comparable with people making videos by commenting photos they found on the internet. - So...again..we know what world fairs are...because they were documented in detail and we still have them and they make perfect sense for a time with many new inventions and easier travel. WE also know how they built those marvelous buildings and we know they weren't there before..or at least there is not a shred of evidence for that. Did you ever wonder why nobody documented them? Why would a building of that scale be overlooked? Why no-one would use them instead of tearing them down? Probably not. And again..if this isn't your FIRST contact with 19th/20th century buildings..you WILL notice how perfectly matches the taste and tech of the time. We also know that there was no other civlization that could have built them. America was occupied. First by the Natives later by the Settlers. And again..what we see is VERY clearly the work of people inspired by European architecture. So what makes more sense: unknown hidden civilzation...or Americans..who were always heavily influenced by Europe? As a chicago native, I will let you know that majority of the people here don’t know how any of it got here it’s eerie how easy it is to tell that these buildings that still stand are way older than they tell us. The buildings are all brick and metal using advanced techniques that are a marvel even today. It's almost as if, by 2024, we have finally evolved and gained all the necessary tools to understand that we did not build this, let alone within the suggested timeline. Humans may have been involved, but not in our current civilization. Talking of archives...they usually DO contain plans of most old buildings..so if you are interested in that I suggest you go to Chicago. When I've been in the museum of science and industry, the walls, columns, floor and ceiling appear to be granite and marble. I remember touching the columns and they do feel like stone. I've never before heard of the building being made with plaster.

Many of the pictures shown are very interesting, but aren't pictures of the fair. Artistic license was stretched a lot. There should have been a disclaimer at the beginning of the video.

I've been to the Chicago museum of science and industry a few times. The building is very Romanesque and looks identical in style to photos of buildings in Rome. My own theory is that Rome not Totara was a world wide empire.

As much as these theories intrigue me, I find myself readily dismissing this video because of all the ridiculous AI art. Show me pictures of the event, I know they exist as I've seen them before. Don't show me Impossibly large buildings and out of place artifacts with incredibly intricate carvings and fountains generated by AI wile also not showing me the actual buildings and locations preserved in photograph. They tore them down BECAUSE they were for the fair..and they were able to built them so quick because they were built super cheap...which again..was one of the main reasons they had to tear them down afterwards. What is "bullshit" is the idea that you can attract million of people to your fair with buildng nothing eye-pleasing...and that was the dilemma of the organizers. So they had to built big..but they also had to get rid of the buildings..so they didn't had to maintain them. So building them the way we would built a movie set today was the best solution. And if you FIND such marvelous palaces tearing them down would make. NO sense. And if you want to keep them a secret for some reason you don't invite mio. of people. Also...you think they wouldn'T have noticed a giant palace next to Chicago?

I noticed that in a lot of World Fair photos. Most of the people are all facing the same way, & their clothing was the same. Follow the leader type stuff. I love seeing these goofball comments saying, "no way this was built in 2 years". The exposition was in honor of Christopher Columbus. It was supposed to open in 1892 but due to delays wasn't opened until 1893. If the damn buildings were already there, why in the hell would they have to push the opening back a year? People act like they don't know money gets things done. Considering they just pushed the indians west because of American expansionism. Do you honestly believe the natives lived in these structures? If so, why did the indians live in caves, teepee's, and other less grandiose structures? It saddens me that people are willfully trying to destroy history with stupid conspiracy theories
