MYSTERIOUS ABANDONED HOUSE ABOUT TO BE LOST FOREVER! FOUND ABANDONED AT THE ROAD SIDE 

It hurts my heart to see old photographs left to rot and now to disappear to dust when the home is demolished. All that history. Great find again Adam. I hope the spirits who still linger find their way when the home is no more.

seein all these abandoned bits of someones life.. pretty much sums up my life as well.. old photos.. lost times.. old songs now unsung.

That house is amazing so lovely. It’s ashame that no one purchased to renovate.

I hope that the furniture etc is sold before it is knocked down

Thank you Adam. The spare table you called it in the begining was a 'Gate leg' table the two sides lift up and supported by a gate leg, they were usually made of wood and many homes still have one. The glasses were 'Cocktail' not Chapagne glasses. There was no 'Sitting/Salon' room downstairs or 'Master bedroom' upstairs so this side of the house may as you say already been demolished. The contents of those dishes on the table in the Kitchen was where someone fairly recently had tipped some of the contents of a jar of preservatives, that was seen half empty left in the Cellar. Adam that big sheet as you called it on the bed was an eiderdown they use to use them in the 60s very warm.I think that is we’re they got the idea of making DUVET.

The only thing I can think of why the place quickly would be an unexpected death and there were no close family members left to take charge of . Neices and nephews , if they had any, would not care about an elderly stuff. A lot of those items could be sold easily!

The 'leeches' in the jars downstairs are beans. being so pale, most likely butter beans. Obviously the preserved their own veggies when in season - may have made their own supplies of wines and cordials to last throughout the year also - maybe for extended family but I don't think there is enough bottles there for a business - and the labels would have had to have been removed from all of them.. Definitely a shame to see it all going to rack and ruin.

These abandoned houses with everything left inside, even decaying food left on the table makes me think about apocalyptic video games and movies... like the last of us and fallout.

This house is a reclamation companies dream Adam!! That marble fireplace alone is worth a lot of money….I have the impression this house is in France? ( not many English recipe books would show how to prepare frog!! 🤢!!) They do things differently there obviously, or something would have been done I’m sure regarding personal Possessions..it’s tragic when “someone “ somewhere related would just love to have those family photos before they go mouldy. The first glass in the “griffin glass door cupboard “ was a champagne glass, the others just wine glasses, then the other cupboard opp had small taller glasses which would be sherry glasses. Two different sizes, the larger was still sherry but the measure was called “a schooner of sherry” I presume a double !! I felt very moved personally as my grandparents had an identical piano with the candle holders, which looked lovely when lit, then you opened another cupboard and there was a tea set with violet flowers painted or transferred on. Again my grandmother had this set, which I now have. Very fine bone China…I don’t know if still done, but animal bones ,usually cow used to be dried and crushed to a powder and mixed with kaolin clay, and feldspar material to make the “Clay” for the translucent look you get with that particular China. Very difficult to make/fire in the kiln as it’s so delicate. But it made my heart leap to see those two items, plus the eiderdown on the bed! All beds used to have them…(filled with feathers and down from the Eider duck! Hence the name! But then duvets came in. Same idea. So many things! Memories! Of laughter,tears,and the lives of people over the years who enjoyed living there. Very spooky how food and wine just abandoned mid meal, and the shirt and iron left in situ without being finished! Good thing the electric was off, or the iron could have burnt the house down left on! Lastly, someone else commented on the furniture all being made by the same hand throughout the house, and noticing the griffin in the glass door of the cupboard you opened made me wonder if the griffin was part of the families heraldry? Maybe they were of higher class status ? Just a feeling.. thanks Adam..you are quite fearless now. Glad you have the lads with you, I always worry when you go alone in case of accidents! The jars in the basement had what looked to be string beans and other type of beans and it look like peaches or fruit they may have used to make wine.

@ 31:00 I really was curious what was in that trunk on top of the clothes hutch!! For some reason, I figure it's pictures?..?🤷🏼‍♀️ I know it is so against the code of explorers. However, that piano, & the champagne glasses, etc. Should be taken to an art gallery for historic pieces!! Since they're going to be demolished!! 😔 It's just Soo horribly sad!!! 😢 I also wondered if those candy wrappers were something you saved up for something free, 🤔 they were just an odd item to have so many.? 😊

Another amazing exploration! 6:00 some urban explorer put that food there to set a scene for photos. If it were truly as old as the abandonment, the liquid would have evaporated long ago.

Did no one connect the opened half full jar of beans in the basement with the bowls on the table in the dining room? The house has been staged by explorers at some point in the last few years as nobody actually keeps books on windowsills or unframed photos all over the house. The photos were likely in that chest on the table and were spread throughout the house by explorers. I believe the doors and paneling in the upstairs hallway was tiger maple but you went by it too fast to be sure. I don't mean to say that I didn't enjoy the video. I loved seeing all the beauty, but sadly left behind and soon to be lost forever.

Just a quick question, what happened to the third chair around the dining room table in your still shot of the room (time stamp 2:27)? When you are panning around the room there are 3 chairs around the table (time stamp 2:32). Then when you are walking around with the K2 at the end, there are only 2 chairs again (time stamp 25:55).

I might be alone in this, but when I see these "abandoned home" videos I can't help but think if I ever found myself homeless I'd like to at least be lucky enough to find one of these homes. I might not have electric, water, etc but I'd at least have a place to call my own ( until I was asked to leave ) lol. And yeah, I'd spend my time cleaning it up too.

What a stunning home.... beautiful furniture.... gorgeous family photos....I'm sure there was so many amazing memories once made here!! It's unfortunate that this house can no longer be saved but I truly hope that someone will take that furniture out, clean it up and to use it in their own family home!! It is way too beautiful to just let rot away or to be demolished with the home....😥

So imagine you're in the middle of eating your dinner and then you and your family just whoosh you go leaving everything'behind. I don't know if you noticed but so much of the furniture in this lovely old home matched all the way throughout. They had the same beautiful floral design craved into them. I love exploring abandoned homes. I do feel terrible bad knowing that there is valuable antics that are just going to ruins, I think that is sinful. There is lots of valuables there including furniture, dishes, books, bottles, etc.

Hi, just a thought.. I grew up in, and still live in France and those sweet wrappers you found in the small chest upstairs was most likely kept for a child because those sweets have jokes on the inside of the wrappers. With time they have most likely faded away.. however they are still sold in France carambars and the wrappers haven’t changed much either.. also, growing up in the french countryside a lot of the neighbours also had empty bottles in their cellars.. not actually to make wine but calvados. A very strong beverage the french are keen makers of.

I think the bed in the last bedroom was a hospital type bed. I could see the lift mechanism under the head of the bed. Might explain the bandages in the side table? Awesome discovery, Adam. You never disappoint! :)

The maggots probably got they as flies landed on the food and left eggs from the maggots they picked up from landing on previously food infected with maggots. It is horrible.
