Mysterious Haunted Cabin Hidden In Gatlinburg. TN (You Won’t Believe What Happens) 

I have a little boy with Down Syndrome and we've visited this place a few times. Every time we're there these pretty little butterflies follow him around the whole time.

I've spent some time in that cabin in the summer of 2020 and I never felt any malicious presence. It felt peaceful. However I was pissed by the fact people vandalize it by writing BS phrases and carving things into its walls and writing on the windows. It's disrespectful

That window is used for a simple reason. During the winter they would stack firewood in that little middle section and the people could open up that window and grab the firewood without going out in the cold and snow.

Jon, Bud Ogle had 10 children. The first was Frances but it may be a male. I never new why their name is all over Sevier county but his family was the first to settle. Mr Ogle cut the logs and went back to retrieve his family in the Carolinas but got sick and died. His wife, her brother and the kids went back and finished the cabin. The cabin was moved to where it is. There was a small cabin for any of the kids that got married to stay in at first. That was torn down. They started the first of everything in Sevier county. They did grow corn and had a apple orchard that they brought the extra apples to Knoxville and sold. Quite a way to go to sell extra apples. Possibly Chapman highway was a old dirt rd back then? History is fun!

What a lovely cabin i bet it was nice and cozy when the fire was going, and why do people have to graffiti on the walls etc no wonder the spirits don't like people in the cabin, i wouldn't to if it was mine😊👻😱

I live here. I also work at the Greenbriar restaurant which is also haunted. You guys need to come to our restaurant and do a investigation.

First time when you asked it said 10. Right before door opened it said 9.

Dogtrot cabins were popular in that time frame. It separated kitchen from living area and also helped with cross winds. It’s a very cool cabin and great investigation!

No room in the house, guests were often put up in the barn loft. I reckon they were trying to put you up for the night.

Jon that was amazing, you captured that door opening. And that window, was closed. So creepy that place is haunted, that is a lot of rocks. I did hear that southern draw, with the word "friends."

As someone who lives an hour and 40 from Gatlinburg. I can say..i love these cabins and i love the hiking trails.

Here is some info I found! 1802, William selected the site where he would build a home for his family in Gatlinburg. After cutting the logs, he returned home to South Carolina to gather his family. Sadly, instead of traveling back to East Tennessee, he tragically fell ill and died in 1803. In 1807, William’s wife, Martha Jane Huskey Ogle, moved with their children - 5 sons and 2 daughters - as well as her brother, Peter Huskey, and his family to the Great Smoky Mountains. They honored William’s wish, finished the cabin he started and settled amidst the beauty of the paradise he had hoped they would enjoy together.

Those cabin are well built in solid wood I love the way corners were joint in dove tail shaped often using wooden pegs as nails. Something definitely moved, the door with a loud creek. Yes you did shut the window because I was looking at it as you closed it, it had been fixed with nails Great video lots of activity.

born and raised in that area i can tell you that cabin the Original Cabin is not there any more.. pieces on it has been replaced so much over the years that its no longer the cabin in question.. but it IS Haunted BIG TIME

Omg..I been at this cabin during the day taking pics. When I came across this video and noticed it was the same place, I went back and viewed my pics. In the pic of the fireplace, the one they are standing in front of, which I didn't notice at the time but there is a shadowy figure and you can completely see a face

Youmade a great point: in the olden days when I was a little girl, as soon as the sun started going down, the adults didnt want noise, movement of any kind in the house , and for sure the tv would be turned off.

At 24:22 you pan the camera at that little door and it's still shut. But when you walk into that room you pan over to that little door at 24:40 and it's actually what looks like to me it's opening slowly as you walked passed. Excellent video guys. Stay safe....

Back in the old days the cabins had an open space between the two cabin sides, called a "dog trot", most our old cabins in the cherokee area had them... My grandma's did and it was built long before it became her cabin up in "big cove"area of the cherokee boundary in NC

This little window was creepy... You closed it from outside really tight, around 3:26. At 24:21 you walk outside along and the windo was still closed. But then, when you walked back into the cabin, around 24:39 the window starts to open slowly, obviously by itselfe... At 28:48 you are back in the cabin and now the spooky window is fully open! Thank you for this amazing video!

I was here in 1977 when I was 12 on a family vacation.

Wow.....lots of activity at that place!! I kept hearing voices and sounds in the camera. When it said "France" (or friends maybe), the first thing I thought was maybe they were immigrants from France since it was built in 1883. There were a LOT of immigrants that came here in the 1800s. Cool old cabin. Makes me think of the old Ogle cabin that used to be in Gatlinburg near a school not far from the Village and Ripley's aquarium. Lot of Ogles there.

The little window is probably for cross ventilation. Before A/C well placed windows were essential. That is a very nice old cabin!

Jon, that blurring, knocking, the door opening, a man talking then a woman outside but what 😳 got to me was that shadow that ran in front of you and your camera at about 8:22 & then while you were out front on the porch watching the meters when the 2nd time you hear a noise at 23:56 & a darker shadow was almost against the house. At least 2 possibly 3 moŕe times there's shadows. I think that they heard you talking about the meters so pushed open the window and was looking at the meters too!!! That cabin is along the Roaring Forks Motor Trail in Gatlinburg. I've got pictures of this cabin on my phone. Visited it May 2019.

That little window and alcove in the middle is for fire wood stack the wood in the alcove under shelter to keep it dry and close by the window is a reach through.

I’ve seen Bud Ogles face appear beside the mantle and the young girl that hides in the corner by the door. I also had flashbacks and images of their lives there. This has never happened to me in those cabins. It made me very emotional.

They sure knew how to build things to last back in the day! I grew up on a farm. Much bigger than that obviously but that's amazing. The door scared the crap out of me and that window was closed! Think of how tough life was back then. The history is incredible. You're right ya'll should have introduced yourself. Ya'll should have also made it clear that they were not aloud to follow ya away. Ok this is gonna sound weird. Also commented this before the video. Me and my mom we walking here in this park. And it started to storm. Because the rain was so thick we lost our way and ended up at this cabin. So we went inside of it to get out of the rain. It was so warm like a fire was light. We sat down on the ground and I fell asleep. I felt so safe there and even my mom fell asleep. I woke up to something saying "Its stopped raining we should get on our way now!" In a soft low whisper. I thought it was my mom but when I opened my eyes my mom was still asleep. So I woke her up and told her what I heard. She got up and left instantly with me. It was wired

I would love to see more vids of the cabins n churches in cades cove. I have been n all the churches grave yards cabins n barns. Some just feel different. Our mountains are so alive n beautiful I can understand why some wouldn't want to leave. 💙

I was there back in 2009. I think it's the Ogle Cabin. I stayed at the Sydney Lodge and took the motor trail. I also attended the ghost walk and visited the cemetery that night. The Ogles' are buried in that cemetery on the hill and had odd readings' on my meters'. Interesting place.

This was such fun, thanks for making it. One question, has anyone encountered ghost in the daytime? I also learned a lot from the other viewers. I learned a lot from it all.

Did you not notice when you said If that was you do the tapping again when you going from the door to the long window. The bottom of the long window there was some kind of apparition either shoulder or the top of the head walking fast starting at 6:24 to 6:29. Then the outer post out the window lightens up then goes out at 6:33

Most of the old houses get renovated for people to have an extra bedroom in an old house for more people to live in the old house for bigger families with kids in the family in the old days.

That whole entire area is invested with Sabe's. They like to mess with people for kicks and giggles. That person you saw at the end of the porch was most likely one of them. They have long fur, but also have human faces. Some people believe that they're the hybrid that's talked about in the bible, Nephilim. There are other creatures that live in the woods, which are their enemies, that make a call that sounds like a woman screaming or crying. Do not fall for this or go exploring. That creature is up to no good and will tear you to shreds. Sabe's are known by other names, 'The Forest People', 'Wildmen", 'Sasquatch' and 'Bigfoot'. Sabe's generally will not harm you, they'll just scare the willies out of you. It's the entity that sounds like a woman screaming, that you need to stay away from as they are pure evil. Sabe's usually try to warn unsuspecting people, by chasing them away in the opposite direction.

I'm not sure if you seen it when you went back and reviewed, but at 42:26 when you panned across the wood line there was, briefly, a white figure that appeared by a tree.

It could of been a bug running into the window. There are a lot of bugs around.

I have lived outside of Gatlinburg my whole life and I have never heard anything about it being haunted.

When you disengage with the spirits to have lengthy conversations about noises etc... it's actually very disrespectful to the spirit. It's not a parlor game for them. Always make your focus the spirit, not yourselves....

"Rumors" This place isn't hidden. It's visited by people almost every day. The chimney had not "collapsed." It had been damaged by a tree that fell on the house during a storm.
