I too am sorry to hear of your loss. Sometimes our connections with animals are as strong, or perhaps even stronger than with other humans, and it's so hard to lose them. You mentioned that this channel came up right after. Perhaps your precious companion sent some loving energy and it manifested in the comfort that this channel might bring. Just a thought. I too loved reading your comment about your connection with nature and wildlife. I feel a greater connection with nature and wildlife now that I'm older and have more time to immerse myself in nature. May you be comforted in your loss.

I have irish and scottish connections, and always rescued or tried to frogs, toads, birds as a child and still do, and it wasn't until i was 20 that i saw my first tinkerbell fairy, so amazing and magical

Yep! Absolutely agree with that and I too have come to the conclusion that everyone knows someone who has had one of these sorts of experiences. They are not as rare as folk think and you’re right…most people have had some kind of experience that they could not explain. Thanks for commenting

There's certainly a lot of First Nations folklore there that I would love to learn much more about. You're right though, the connection held on in places thankfully and people everywhere are beginning to remember, again.

I’m not xtian and no I don’t agree how could I when I believe the Bible is just written by men….even the god they invented and then Jesus is SO obviously manmade….think about the descriptions lf god in the Bible ….especially the Old Testament….before they tried to soften this god a tiny bit…and please don’t say the Old Testament god isn’t what he’s like in the New Testament….ummmm excuse me? So god changed?! Sorry bad attempt ar deflection. My dad was a Pentecostal Apostolic minster so I know the Bible backwards and forwards…. But yea it’s hilarious that the description of him sounds EXACTLY like an extremely dysfunctional abusive (in all ways) man…..🤷🏼‍♀️ 😂😮‍💨 Yea I suppose you can say or believe what you want BUT …..yea the faeries and all else were around THOUSANDS of years before xtianity came and destroyed what they could of the old ways and faith l…and what they couldn’t force away went into hiding ..like ALL the supposed xtian holidays even HOLY days are completely 100% PAGAN…..Xmas, Easter, Ground hogs day (that’s Imbolc 😮‍💨😂), All Hallows’ and a few more….my goodness. The old churches are crawling with old masonry that the xtians refused to bow down in some ways and snuck those very pagan symbols right on churches (😂🤷🏼‍♀️) like the Greenman and all else. Such a gorgeous stunning complex belief system….the faerie faith….,just beyond cheapened imo with tying it 1,000s of yrs later……just CUZ, REALLY? Unbelievable. Nothing a mention whatsoever in the book…. But meh let’s pretend otherwise? Let me guess you also believe that dinosaurs roamed the earth in Jesus’s time….and as you claim about faeries ….those who wrote about events that happened 100s of years previously (nothing in the Bible was written as it happened but somehow by people WAY WAY removed, kinda odd huh?) just didn’t…..wanna wrote about AWESOME UNBELIEVABLE CREATURES THAT ARE BEYOND MAGICAL AND ONE CAN ACTUALLY SEE AND INTERACT WITH!? Hmmmmm sorry don’t buy, makes zero sense knowing humans….anyone seeing or talking about the 100s of different faeries it would have been written down. Yes! Exactly. I am a born-again Believer in Jesus Christ but I also realize the Bible does not contain everything GOD has ever done or said. There isn't a book big enough to contain that. The Bible contains what is relevant to man's salvation. GOD bless.

@@margeretpaert4435 same here. I am a born-again believer for 50 years now. Saved when I was 10. About a year ago I started to really feel this pull towards the outdoors. Nature, birds, trees. I've always had a love for GOD'S Creation and liked the woods and living out BUT this is something all together different. It's almost hard to describe. I'm beginning to believe it has to be spiritual there is no other explanation for this draw I have towards the woods and trees and birds. Until just a few days ago I thought it was just me but I have now read several comments by others explaining they are experiencing this same thing.

@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 I know the feeling. I also did and try to do you tube. I do stuff on the strange and unexplained. One on the yeti. (menk). And the book is called the fairy tree. I've edited it many times. Needs final proof and edit. But just takes time. Basically it's about how modern world encroaches on traditions and beliefs and how we do easily scoff at them over money etc. There's no actual fairies in it but that's the point in a way. Be happy to send it see what you think. It's aimed at Charlie and chocolate factory type audience. I'm an artist rather than a writer so it was out the blue for me.

Balls of lights (orbs) are sometimes just condensed forms of energy manifesting. There are layers so some may see light and others will see them in their fairy being forms

Thank you! Sometimes the tall ones seem to be guardians of a place. Other times they may be the sorts of beings like the Sidhe who seem to be tall and shining/glowing beautiful people. They could have been beings that reside in that place or quite simply they could be beings that I know little about at present 😊 I have no answers but sharing info with each other helps to build a picture. All I can say for sure is that they do exist and are certainly not figments of peoples imaginations. So many of us have seen these beings. It’s not a rare occurrence in my view. I saw once on looking through my window at night in the field opposite me a bright blue bouncing light along the grass the size of a tennis ball, but it disappeared when I called out to someone in the house. I didn't know then what it was

I know!! it really took me by surprise too because he described a being that I have also seen. I couldn't believe it when he started talking about that as he hadn't mentioned that story previously. My own sighting of a similar being also took place with two other people so it's very interesting indeed.

how wonderful, I saw on looking out my windown last year a white light with wings fly out of my hedge, I am pretty certain now I have fairies in my garden, as I don't use any chemicals at all

Maybe. I really don’t know but they seem to exist in the British Isles and a guy saw another type of tree being in Brazil. All of them have been multiple witness encounters which in itself is interesting

Good question. They used to be seen quite a bit by farmers according the folktales. There have been a few sightings by farmers in modern times. I can’t remember if they were Cornwall or Devon

I bought that on DVD twenty years ago and it is still one of my prized possessions! I just discovered this channel and I subscribed immediately, I have always believed in nature spirits, faerie, and things, including beings, that we don't understand. Have had quite a few experiences in my life as well.

I have not heard of this film. Will see about finding it.
