Tiffany I started laughing today while shopping my local goodwill today in Alabama and seen 1 candle stick, walk alittle ways down and seen the matching so I put them together, and thought of u....
Just love when you take us thrifting, love you calm mannerisms and you accent. Very gentle lady full of knowledge and you can tell you love what you are doing... treasure hunting
A few months back I found 6 glassy babies, but at the time I had no clue as to what they were so I put them back. After watching your videos I am becoming more knowledgeable about what to look for.
I really appreciate the way you pull things out and explain why you think it's valuable or not. "Don't forget to look up top and on the bottom. And open all boxes." You need a t-shirt that states that. 😄
Since finding you I have spent the last several days binge watching every single thing you have put out on RU-vid. You’ve taught me so much it’s so nice to listen to your voice and I thank you for taking your time out of your busy life to do this for us
Several years ago I started picking up anchor glass fridgy dishes for storage after listening about plastic storage and reheating leftovers. Hard to find but worth looking for.
Every time I get an alert that you've posted a new video, I hope this is the one where you find the chip and dip framework and/or a glassybaby. When that day comes, you're going to hear a deafening cheer from your fans!
Thank you for another lovely video, Tiffany. It's great to see what you have on offer at the GW and your selections, which I think reflect your refined eye, as you pre-shop for clients on various platforms. The care that you put into the selection of items, not to mention the quality of your videos is awesome, and your approach is the "kindler & gentler" side of antiquing and thrifting. How sweet to have shared the find with the lady at the store. I tend to do the same thing, and I'm going to get kicked out of one thrift store if I put one more person off the fake LV and Gucci that they try to sell for inflated prices -- a pet peeve of mine. I told a woman just yesterday that a LV bag was so fake that it was comical, yet she kept thinking it was real because they were asking $29.99. I asked her if she was a reseller and she said that she was on eBay and I told her that if she put a fake LV in her shop, watch out for the fallout. I told her that the real designer items (LV, Gucci, Hermes, Valentino, Prada, etc.) are picked for ecommerce and authenticated,, where they sell for a fair price, but closer to the retail value than an in-store price. She asked why I was looking at it, and i said that it was so fake it was comical, and I was going to buy it for my teenage niece as a joke if it were a couple of dollars, but not for $29.99. I know I write long comments, and I apologize, but this was hilarious and may be of benefit to some who look at handbags who watch your channel. The vachetta was vinyl and studded like Valentino, the lining was plain brown, no pattern, there was no faked date tag, no faked inner label, and the bag, a pouchette, was piped in beige, on a multicolor LV/white monogram bag. Oh, and for added measure, a bow in the vachetta vinyl at the top. So, I was waiting for coffee and strolled over to see if it was in the store, and someone paid $29.99 for it -- and I shook my head and hoped that the eBay reseller didn't buy it and list it for $300, which her "research" had told her it was worth because eBay will be swift and severe when the fake is discovered. That's what I like about your channel, when you are giving tips, such as looking for new with tags/like new bags, you're looking at good brands that are not likely to be counterfeit, and can also be pretty quickly checked, such as Vera Bradley. High-end designer super fakes can fool all but the most seasoned brand-focused authenticators, too, but your tips and a fair profit margin can help someone, not get them into a perilous situation of having hundreds or thousands of dollars in fake merchandise that is in thrift stores in pursuit of higher profits. Some GW locations do get authentic, designer vintage, but not the vast majority of the stores, and many GWs prefer ecommerce anyway to reach a wider market. I'm not a reseller, but I see the value in your advice, and the way your channel collaborates and helps to fill in the blanks on some items that benefits everyone.
Try asking your Goodwill's out there to use painter's tape instead of the packing tape. The Goodwill near me has started using painter's tape which is much better. Love your haul and how you explain everything to us.
That would be a good idea for everyone to suggest to their good will stores. They might do it. It’s so sad when otherwise nice and useful items are ruined with tape and rough handling at the store.
ALWAYS love seeing all your fur babies at play! Such little cuties...they put a bright spot in my heart! Great haul today. Love those fabric crafted flowers! ❤💚💙💜💛
I'm always learning from your videos. I recently found a Fenton fairy lamp for 4 dollars and resold it for 100. I had no idea what Fenton was before watching your videos. Now I'm on the look out for it!!
Yes Tiffany ‘it’s cold here in Canada. We live near Niagara Falls. Was a great haul,I liked the flowers in the white large vase. Also the blue glass vase .Your house is going to be beautiful and Bear is growing so fast.Wish you and your family much happiness in your new home.❤️🙏🇨🇦
Hey Tiffany, I bought that utensil holders on Amazon a couple years ago. I love it! It’s such a nice size. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and taking us shopping with you. 😘
I recently picked up 2 of the Portugal plates from Goodwill on dollar day and used them this past Christmas. They added such a nice touch and something unique to the table
Hi Tiffany - I enjoyed that bit of thrifting! Love the material flowers, the Mexican plate and that gorgeous rather abstract painting that you so generously let that fellow shopper have. How kind of you. Your home is beautiful. Love the pendant lighting fixtures🤗
I still use tinsel- but lightly. Put it on the live tree one strand at a time, just like my mother did! All my ornaments are one of a kind - mostly smaller & vintage - and use multi-color lights, so the tinsel really adds sparkle & light.
The flowers of fabric are made from fabric yo-yo's... sweet display. I hope you sell it quickly! 🏵💮🏵💮🏵 Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary of your youtube channel. 🥳😍🥰
The painting is striking to look at with the gold frame and the golden sunlight. Right after you ask at 41:28 when you sked "can you see it?" I hear a whisper saying "ok" was someone with you? If not that was a little strange! 🤨
You voice is so delightful as you describe the items on your shopping adventures! Your life is full of good things and you live with gratitude. It shows. 💞 I love the bunny on the basket. Perfect to fill with Easter treats for my granddaughter.
Love those yo-yo flowers in the vase, never thought of doing that one though. That blue vase the mark on the bottom looks like a bumble bee to me. Have a great day
Hi Tiffany sorry I haven't commented in awhile I've been sick and had ot of difficulty watching tv or videos I'm catching up now and love thrifting with you hope all is well with you and your family and the cats and sweet bear as well I enjoy your channel thankyou for sharing much love from PA 👍💕🌷😻🐶
Hello Lori, it's good to hear from you again! I hope you'll be completely better very soon. Thank you very much for your good wishes, everyone is very well thank you! 😊 💞
I love so many things you got today❣️The little plack with the mother and the newborn is sooo adorable ❣️🥰And the RCCL Christmas plate was beautiful❣️😍The bunny dish, super cute❣️😍
Nice haul. Your house is coming along nicely. And Bear is precious! I love his little ear that flops over; it’s so cute. He’s starting to get a bit gangly, kind of like a teenager.
Tiffany, I think the cobalt vase was handmade and not necessarily recycled. I was a borosilicate flame worker for 10 years and while this piece looks a bit large for boro the technique looks fairly familiar. It was probably either inside out work which means that it was an opened bubble on the end of a punty that was fumed inside with silver and then had to clear drawn over top of that and then sealed again and melted together. Alternatively, it could have just been a sealed bubble on the end of a punty with silver fume application and then clear over top of that. Sometimes when you lay glass on top of other glass it can create a little bit of air trap by accident.
So like you to hand that painting over to the woman who loved it so she could buy it for herself. 🥰🥰 You are just the sweetest person! Loved today’s (well, yesterday’s…or Tuesday’s, depending on your point of view!) haul. I’m absolutely in love with those CA pottery dishes! I saw the chip in the video, but knew you’d have grabbed them anyway - can’t pass up the 3 perfect ones to go with the bowl! Makes me wish I was in acquisition mode rather than purge mode… I also love the little bunny dish and I think it’s one that’s been there in the holiday section down at the end in the last couple of videos and I’ve been yelling, “Wait! Cute bunny dish!” every time! LOL It’s so sweet. My third fave was the pretty floral dish with the twisty handles. The mugs - glad you found the second gnome and I think they’re cuter without the hats. I like the subtlety. The flowers are great and take me back - waaay back - to my college days when my roommate and I would spend days making flowers of all kinds. And some little boy’s mom is going to make him so happy with that wall sculpture! Perfect for a first big-boy room re-do for a kid in Little League. And I’m glad you found your egg cups - a whole set and in perfect condition and dishwasher safe!! Your new floors are drop-dead gorgeous as are your baths. Just really nice! And I love the pendant lights you’ve chosen. Very pretty - they look like stone but also have a feathery quality that makes them special. All your boys are looking fit and happy as well. And sleepy Bear Is just soo sweet. 😍
I may be mistaken, But your lovely little flowers on the stick... I believe are the "Yo-Yo's" for a Yo-Yo Quilt. Quite an injenious way to repurpose the thousands of those needed for a large quilt! Putting one of those together is so very tedious. I have 3 huge ones. Cathleen
Honey you past up the only piece I would of looked at. the beautiful art glass bowl on the second shelf when you started to shop. Red and white inside. cheers
I love the narrative as you shop. Your accent is charming and you provide a teaching experience also. I love the items you choose to buy. Great taste. Keep thrifting Tiffany! I love your channel. ❤️🙏🏻✝️🤗😍😇
Hi, love you Tiffany! I’m at the point where to put my inventory and how to organize it so I can retrieve sold items right away. So I can ship quickly. As to not keep my customers waiting. 😅 Love all of your family ❤so sweet 😊
I have that sweet Hallmark bunny basket dish. Each year it contains Jelly Belly jelly beans - - my Grands know exactly where to find their favorite jelly beans. Love your channel! Thank you!
Tiffany- those “golf ball displays “ at the 21:16 mark are pool cue holders. The bottom is solid half rounds and the top has corresponding holes for the cues to go up through. Love thrifting Vegas with you!
