LOOK AT ME NYT. whoever is reading this, look me in the eye. KEEP THIS SERIES GOING. i myself will fund this season because I. LOVE. MYSTERY. MENU. i am a normal girl, the age of six and ten. AND THIS SHOW IS WHAT DEFINES ME. sohla and ham are literally my comfort people. their ability to navigate food is magical, and their kindness is so emblazing.

I clicked on this video thinking it was going to be a compilation, got 5 minutes in and was like this just seems like a straight up episode then clicked again and saw the length THEN Finally actually read the title. lol anyway really cute to see how far this series has come and I’m excited for the next season. I’m from the south so I’ve learned a lot of different dishes from Sohla and Ham and appreciate them greatly!

this is my favorite series !!! Sohla's laugh is so contagous and heart-warming!! and her and Ham have such great chemistry (lol obviously bc they're married) - and they're so knowledgeable !! i would watch this forever

When I ate fresh frozen durian I thought it smelled like a diaper pail but tasted like the best fruit I've ever eaten. It was soooooo delicious. Such an odd experience to smell something foul and taste something divine.

So, there's a Farm Distiller upstate called Mohawk Spirits that has three interesting aspects: first they have a research laboratory and are run by chemistry PhDs, they use vacuum distillation to make fruit liqueurs that are true to flavor, and they have a pawpaw orchard. Pawpaws would make an interesting mystery ingredient and something interesting might come from some of the other aspects of their operations.

in Malaysia,where I come from, people are obsessed with Durian and Malaysian durian are well known for being the best ... you can ferment durian with salt and after awhile it turns sour and we called tempoyak,perfect to cook with meats and seafood

I feel like if there was something sideways about them she would have already sussed it out. particularly with a the lkast year she was with child if they didnt treat her well and paid her she would have already left. im willing to bet shes on payroll with proper benefits like maternity leave
