This was such a good idea ❤ I had a thought on the black gel polish: you can use it for line detail drawings like Emily Susanah does. It seems particularly convenient to be able to erase and start over when placed on a cured base. It don't think the black is meant to be thick whatsoever, and yes, physics states that light just gets absorbed into the top layer. Think of a black cloud and how sunlight can't get through.
