So the conclusion that can be drawn from this conversation is that Woolmer was on the take from fixers. He took money (which he was counting in his hotel room) for Pakistan's defeat against West Indies, which was also a dubious loss. Then as luck would have it, Pakistan lost to Ireland and that really pissed the fixers who lost a lot of money and killed Woolmer because the fixers thought that Woolmer has done it to earn more money for himself and as a result they must have threatened Woolmer which resulted in so much stress and pressure for the poor man, that he succumbed under that pressure and got a heart attack
