0:25 that’s it, that’s the moment, that’s the moment they used when the movie won an award (you know what I’m talking about, that little song while the winner walks to the stage)
I also did an arrangement of this for three harps! You can check it out here, if you'd like! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VO2Rh4qVy9k.html
I think the ting sound is maybe referring to the bikes they used in the movie, I dont know ahaah trying to find the meaning and the reason why they put it there
Permission to use this on my future wedding! A beautiful music to walk down the aisle with. BTW I'm crying on how beautiful it is. Imagine this being played in a huge hall.
ohmy god i hear it- remjnds me of i think Anastasia in place of rose walking down the stairs on the titanic but in a castle... that probably made no sense but oh my lord.
Oh, to see without my eyes The first time that you kissed me Boundless by the time I cried I built your walls around me White noise, what an awful sound Fumbling by Rogue River Feel my feet above the ground Hand of God, deliver me Oh, oh woe-oh-woah is me The first time that you touched me Oh, will wonders ever cease? Blessed be the mystery of love Lord, I no longer believe Drowned in living waters Cursed by the love that I received From my brother's daughter Like Hephaestion, who died Alexander's lover Now my riverbed has dried Shall I find no other? Oh, oh woe-oh-woah is me I'm running like a plover Now I'm prone to misery The birthmark on your shoulder reminds me How much sorrow can I take? Blackbird on my shoulder And what difference does it make When this love is over? Shall I sleep within your bed River of unhappiness Hold your hands upon my head 'Til I breathe my last breath Oh, oh woe-oh-woah is me The last time that you touched me Oh, will wonders ever cease? Blessed be the mystery of love
@@alynguz.6164 i haven't, the book hasn't arrived in my country i guess? but i have read some parts from the book too, Andre really just created a masterpiece again
Thank you, that's nice to hear. I think it makes a big difference on which device the piece is played on. It's not meant to be played on a smartphone so I can kind of relate to the people that find it distracting when hearing it with extremely emphasized treble.
@@twimacs Don't know why people play anything off phone speakers when they want to actually enjoy music! Anyway, lovely song, the glockenspiel adds more magic and a delicate quality to everything and it's not at all distracting even with my basic Sony headphones.
Just finished the book's last line.. I was so utterly moved and needed to sit on the the words as well as on the whole story and this version is the perfect background. It is as if love itself could be trainsported from its abstract form into an angelical melody. What a beautiful book, what a beautiful film, beautiful song and now beautiful version. I wish I could personally show my gratitude to ones envolved in every aspect of the very creation of this master piece, from Aciman to Sufjan Stevens, and to you of course. Thank you so much.
Maximilian Zwiener by the way, just looked at this comment again and I did not mean to come off so rude. It’s a beautiful piece of music and a million times better than what I could ever do, I just wasn’t a huge fan of the bell is all
I didn't take it as a rude comment, don't worry. Obviously it's not only your opinion ;) I just realized that it really depends on the device the piece is played on if the heights are too excessive.
I'm writing a novel about a botanist and an historian (both male) that fall in love during an expedition through the jungles of XIX century Guatemala, and this rendition of Mystery of Love is exactly how the story sounds. I hope you all get to read it one day! :)
@@t.miranda176 It's nice to hear that you are still working on it. Looking forward, don't forget to tell me the name of your novel when you finish it or publish it.😁
It takes me back in time when I watched this movie for the very first time and fell in love with everything about it right then. I will always love it.
I've listened to this song thousands of times and this is the first time I have heard this version ... I honestly don't know how to feel about it, but this it's honestly just MAGIC.
2:10 That night in Rome. When oliver pushed elio into a wall and kissed him. They kissed without a care of the world around them and closed their eyes. He didn't worry so I didn't.
I was hearing Ice Dance and I scroll to see Mystery Of Love. Wondering if there's an orchestra version, it did. I'm so glad it exist, it's beautiful :')
I feel this as a middle-age-themed movie background music. I don't know why I see Oliver as a Crown Prince And Elio as a Duke They met at a royal party, and just started feeling something about each other. First they didn't really know what it is, but then things are getting more complicated since they know what they're feeling. But they chose to keep it to themselves at first. And it goes on
This made me remind of the moment I still have her. I gladly wake up everyday to talk to her. I was motivated to wake up because of her. Ever since we broke up it became the opposite and lose sight of what I really want. I'm starting to believe that no one will love me and that I'm a very unlovable individual. But I now she will come in my life someday. I just have to wait and improve myself in the process.
I adore everything about that version, including the bell everyone hates. Thank you very much for making this arrangement! In my opinion it's as good as an original
this version hit me harder than any maybe because the original ver is a guitar which by all means is the perfect for the movie but i play the violin and i am able to relate to the sound of the orchrestra more regardless of the version of this song still gives me sadness but at the same time the sense of safe and protection like 80's in northern italy
Texturally this is perfect! But the high string legatos have a slow attack and feel like they're dragging so you might want to nudge the midi a bit ahead next time.
