So many to knit. I love how there is so many different techniques in each shawl. The designer is vary talented and inspiring. I would knit Mistic Rose, Earth, Air, Light, in no order.
I like your reviews because you explain items in detail slowly and leave the pictures on the screen long enough to see the items. The shawl I would knit first is Midsummer Wreath, but they are all so beautiful! Thank you so much for the great review!
I loved that you showed photos of the patterns in the book and also the information on the each pattern i.e. top down.cast on, etc. Also the amounts of yarn required. Great review. Think I would start with Mystic Air.
If I were to win a copy of this ebook, I would probably knit mystic fire first, looked beautiful! Great review, it's nice to see beautiful close ups of the shawls in the book before purchasing! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! Boy how things change! Iace and I did not get along well at all at first but I have fallen in love with it! I'm on my third shawl now, a Judy Marples design, which requires chart work on both sides (ssp, etc..). I am enjoying the challenge. I would like to learn different shapes, techniques and styles. My goal is to expand my repertoire and someday create something all on my own. I would certainly start with the "Mystic Rose" because I love the design, the detailed border and atypical spine design! I would love to knit this for my Grandmother. She is a beautiful 83 years young and looks great in red! I love all of these designs but the "Mystic Rose" in red would certainly be the first I would knit. :)
So beautiful! I never thought I would be interested in knitting shawls until seeing these beautiful pieces. I appreciate you giving the basic information for each and posting the beautiful photos. The ones I would like to do first are: mystic eart, ice, desire, and midsummer wreath. Thank you for doing this review. I never paid attention to doing shawls until now! Fingers crossed, I would love to win this ebook! :)
Thank you for the review. I appreciate how you give a lot of detail and show clear photos of each shawl. I'd love to tackle the Mystic Star shawl but there are several others I think I'd also enjoy knitting, esp the Mystic Embers wrap.
Thank you for reviewing this such clear and concise format. Loved the summary and the fact you hit the highlights for each pattern offered in the book. For those of us who are not able to browse knitting books often your review is extremely valuable! I am drawn to mystic rose as you are, but I might opt to knit Mystic Earth first because of the construction. Love your podcasts, keep them coming! :-)
You shine. Lovely tutorial; clear concise and fun. If I were to take the time and I would on one of those rectangular shawls, specifically Mystic Embers. :) Rock on.
I would start with the Mystic Star, doing both the full and half circle. I love your reviews. You actually study what you are talking about, so you can give all the information that the audience will need.
OMG, I love this book. I got so excited watching you review the different shawl. As soon as you would review one I would think that it was my favorite one until you reviewd the next one. I love how large the shawls are but also appreciate that you could make it smaller. I would say my favorite one is the two toned shawl. Great review, hope you have an awesome time at Knitopia!
I really enjoyed your video of the Mystic Shawls. I love every one of the shawls. I would make the Mystic Earth shawl for my sister who is, right now, starting a long journey to recovery from stage 4 lymphoma. How do I order this book?
Thank you so much for this review! This book has been on my wishlist and now I REALLY want it! I love the Mystic Midsummer Wreath shawl and would probably try to knit that one first! Thanks again for the thorough review and the chance to win a copy! I'm frecklesandpurls on Ravelry.
