Omg! This deck is stunningly beautiful. Just ordered my own copy from Amazon. I love decks that deviate from the traditional RWS system; they help to truly hone and broaden your intuition which is what tarot is all about: tapping into the cards and let them speak to you.
I Love the Style, Colours & Artwork but the Representation Symbolism truly throws me Off my energy to even try to do Readings with those cards! Not my type of a Deck, Regardless Thanks for sharing this video, many Blessings ✨🙏💖🌞🌟😇✨
Thanks for the great flip through, it really helped me decide if I want this deck. Just want to point out that while the minors in this deck might deviate from Ride Waite, it might make more sense if the creators were drawing inspiration from the Marseille system. For example, in Marseille the Five of Wands' numerological meaning is something like innovation/exploration/encounter, and its Major Arcana correspondences are the Hierophant and the Devil - it could refer to growing beyond boundaries, finding new passions or a "bridge between realms". I can see how this could be interpreted as the exploration or discovery of the unconscious, even though the visual image they chose is closer to the Six of Swords in terms of Rider Waite imagery. Of course it could also be coincidence, as there are so many correspondences across different systems of tarot that things can click together in unexpected ways. Also I don't mean to be rude, but I noticed that you kept saying "traditional meaning" to mean Ride Waite meaning, when Rider is itself a deviation from the earlier "traditional" system.
and it would make a lot more of sense if they were drawing inspiration from the Thoth system, because.... it is a Thoth based tarot (ac. creator). I'm so tired of everybody just assumed that any new created tarot should be a RWS inspired deck, unless is pips and then they call them 'Marseille' deck 😶🤔😅
You just gave me an idea - I've got about forty tarot decks and counting, but I can't read a card or do a reading to save my life. The moment I try, the cards fall silent and are completely dead to me. I think I just love the pictures. Do you think my local library will accept my donation of several boxed tarot cards and guide books?
I think the issue would be for the librarians. They would have to count the cards upon them being returned. Very time consuming. A lot of people would lose cards, 'replace' missing cards out of their own decks. Nice thought though.
Hi, Aves Raggiana. I would love to chat with you about the ones that you want to find a new home. Let me know how to get in touch with you to discuss. Thanks.
Has there been a recolour of this deck? I just received mine from Amazon today, and the colours look duller than the ones on the video reviews. I'm wondering if I received a different edition or a possible counterfeit? I would prefer the cards with brighter colours, so I'd be happy to exchange them or purchase a different version.
This deck should be called "supreme paradox", as some cards are magnificent and others very uninspired. The lovers card, for example, is pathetic and hideous!
