Aside from having an incredibly inconvenient name, this game stole my heart long long ago. Not just the soundtrack (which I actually listen to in my time off), but the game itself is also in many ways at least, if not more memorable than Super Mario 64. This game... The soundtrack, I don't know where to begin.
Aside from having incredibly clever basslines and interesting melodies, there are a lot of hidden instrumental parts somewhere in the composition to be found. Even though I've listened to the entire soundtrack for over a 100 times (not exaggerating!), there are still moments when I discover something new. And it blows my mind.
I am INCREDIBLY excited to share this cover with you, as I've kept my eye on it for a really long time! I didn't have the confidence (or bass skills) to do them yet. But after hours of hard work and practice, I think I managed to capture the funky essence of the original song, while still giving it a metal edge.
