Mystikal joined VladTV for the first time to detail his life and storied rap career. He started by describing his upbringing in New Orleans during the 1970s and 1980s. Despite his father passing away from a blood clot when he was seven-years-old, as well as the passing of his sister, Mystikal described himself as a good, sheltered kid.
After completing high school, Mystikal joined the military without knowing the country would soon be involved in the Gulf War. After serving his country and being discharged, he returned to New Orleans where he started pursing his rap career. After being discovered during an opening performance for Run-DMC, Doug E Fresh, and Spice 1, Mystikal quit multiple jobs after being handed $500 to start recording.
