After living in 8 states I realized one thing - North-South Yes there is a big difference, Comedy is very subtle in the South & Its A bit loud, and with abuses in the North or say it a cliche that we think only people from North use gaalis or abuses - We have people from North Karnataka who use cuss words /abuses (as part of the lingo aa magna , ee magna). King of Indian Stand-up comedy Kapil Sharma was not always Vulgar... And the famous Russel Peters sounded Racist, Sexist, Abusive, Mean, Rude, Insulting & Mostly Vulgar - But He is worth $75Million lolk :-) :-) Stand up Comedy is a comedy - Laugh or Leave.. !!
Comedy ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿತ್ತು.. ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಬಾಷೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಲ್ಲ.. ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಟೈಂನಲ್ಲಿ punches ಇತ್ತು.. oxymoron ಇಂದ start ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸೂಪರ್ idea..👏👏😂 Now in English... Super comedy.. First thing is unlike others, you are not using North Karnataka slang.. Clean comedy with punches at right time👌👌👏👏 15mins went just like that...👍
The content on this channel is so relatable having grown up here...... I am using this to learn more kannada so that I can go beyond speaking broken lines in Kannada... A request to the makers a subtitle in English wld be helpful for ppl like me ..... More power to your channel.....
I watch so many stand up comedy on youtube. But this guy is so intelligent to create comedies based on situations. Decent comedies with so much meaning.

Finally some clean comedy. Nandu K avare nimma appa very wise man ansutte. Full sympathy nimma English kalikege. Been there, done that. In 70s...Kannada medium to straight Mount Carmel College....totally silent first year....summernalli reading reading all English novels....with iconic DKB dictionary by the side. End of summer holidays know many English words, no story remembered. Then comes 2nd year of pre prepared sentences, well rehearsed for many imaginary situations. So on so forth....full circussu. Suddenly as fluent in English as in Kannada....national and international jobsooo....now I am an English speakingu, writing Kannada in English scriptu type of appata kannadathi. Felt very much for you when I heard that three decades later you had to go through similar bavane.
I had watched it months ago and I don't know why I had not liked it. For some reason I watched it again and it is so goooood!!!! Looks like my brain was not functioning and I did not even know about it! :P
Your jokes are serious. Not complaining , you have a style of your own. I like it. :) Some parts of the video it felt like you were reading out jokes one after another from a sheet of paper. Just felt like that. May be if the jokes were better connected to each other (story telling) it would have felt better . Keep up the good work GSkism.
15 E, bus boarding at Majestic busstand is a classic experience, which i experienced several times, Thanks for converting this to a nice standup comedy incident. Another fact, I really enjoyed was Mysuru English medium schooled guys hardly can speak in English couple of my own friends were and are like that.
Well done. Got to know that we have a stand up comedian who is a kannadiga. Sarala swacha kannadada mathu adidhri. Keep it going. The best experience one would ever enjoy is listening to conversation in BMTC bus, while getting caught by a traffic cop & u trying to negotiate , if ur trying to get ur vehicle licence where inspector asks u to ride & he sees the other way. if u travel in a bus to city market..etc I'm sure those best memories will not come again.
Awesome...if I have to watch standup comedy videos i make sure my 4 year old son is not around bcoz lot of beep words..it's really uncomfortable to hear.. but after watching your videos i am really glad there are people like you who proved comedy need not be vulgar/sexist
Nice jokes, The good thing of this stand up comedian is no double-meaning joke and sensored jokes... All jokes were fine to hear with family... Very well done...
