I got killed by a flare by a friend when we are doing a custom jet 3v3 air match

The pilot themselves would be vulnerable if you can punch through the window that'd actually be terrible in real life to have happen those flares on the aircraft are probably a lot heavier duty than the handheld ones i've used.

I was in air rb once, just having some fun by flying close to my teammates Then in flared just for fun and that son of a bitch teammate left the game, so because I did little damage to him, I had to pay 25k sl

I've noticed this happening, but never does any damage. Why?

@@termiusprime when the bomb is shot in it's bay it explodes completely destroying the plane so maybe it didn't detonate for you but for me it destroys the plane

@@Name223lr Not only does it never destroy the plane for bombers, but it never destroys the plane for fighters or attackers either, even when they are underslung bombs. It must be a problem with the update on Xbox.

@@Johnathan-mj4eiit’s fun but top tier is actually playable only in sim (I mean in sim skill matters and you will win fights because you’re better than the opponent or lose it because you’re worse instead of 16v16 mess/chaos in which 90% of kills are made simply because you were lucky enough so targets couldn’t see or defeat 999999999 missiles from all directions at the same time) But anyway this is my opinion

@@Johnathan-mj4ei its fun, but it can definitely be frustrating. “Volumetric Hell” is definitely real with it causing you to lose fights you shouldn’t, 1/3 of your team essentially does nothing every match (I actually ran the numbers), and a lot of players can play in annoying ways like spawn camping, abusing CAS, and playing broken vehicles.

It’s war thunder, damage is on a component model, so anything that does any amount of damage can kill if it does enough.

U can shoot bombs mid air for years now. Maybe ure actually talking about Dat time when gaijin introduced Dat, but I think ure confusing it with the recent feature of shooting bombs/missiles still in the plane
